My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Jay's Peak. They have a wonderful menu section and salad bar option with reasonable princing. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken sandwich and I went with the salad bar. The chicken was perfectly cooked/fried, juicy, and flavorful. The french fires were addicting. At the salad bar I could choose from... More

I always like what I order but my favorite is the fried haddock it is excellent. My husband often take the fishermans plate. There is a salade bar also which is very good. In the summer there is a very nice terrasse view of the lake.

We had driven around Lake Memphremagog, mostly in Canada, earlier in the day. It seemed appropriate to dine by its shore, even though we couldn't see the lake itself in the autumn evening dark. The menu had many tempting offerings, but my dinner partner and I both chose the salad bar, which had a satisfying selection of items. I especially... More

Was here in September with my parents. We had cake and coffee on the patio overlooking the lake. View was great, service was lackluster. Can't believe that in all these years, they still haven't renovated. The inside of the restaurant which you have to pass on your way to the patio smells. Bad.

The view is spectacular and the food is pretty good too! I have dined here several times over the past several years and never been disappointed. Full menu for lunch and dinner and the Sunday brunch is outstanding (be prepared to be full!!). The location is right on Lake Memphremagog and during the summer boaters are welcome. The restaurant also... More

You might not ever find another restaurant where the owner seems to be there 24/7 yet it is always the case with this treasure as the food and staff are always on their toes and the service and quality is unmatched. Wait for a table overlooking the lake!

Stayed near Newport for a week the end of August. The Eastside was recommended to us and we found ourselves there more than once. Dined outside both times with views of the gorgeous sunset on the lake! Food was good, salad bar fresh and full and friendly wait staff that did not rush your experience!

We visit this restaurant once a summer. A good excuse for a long boat ride on a sunny day. The best thing about this restaurant is the view. The food is very ordinary and not cheap (considering the quality). Service is average as well. Their margaritas are pretty good but the mojito was terrible. The worst I ever had. Not... More

Love going to the Eastside for big old fashioned meals. The service is friendly and fast and the food is good. Great views of the lake. Also, a good value. I had the salmon and my husband had the chicken and biscuit. Both meals were great, but I was jealous of his chicken. Next time....
