In a small town with not much to chose from, Taps is "ok". However, the food is over priced for what you get, I love the options but would love the "regulars" to be on draft, and my entire party was sick the next day from the food. The atmosphere was boring, but the waitress was great and as mentioned... More

Creative food and your standard fare. Last night, we had a braised short rib served on a parsnip puree with roasted Brussels sprouts as an appetizer - delish! Both entrees (prime rib and a black bean burger) were great. Service was quick and friendly.

The food was very good. My husband had a pastrami sandwich and I had half an order of nachos, that was still large. We went for an early dinner. Good service.

Taps Tavern is a great place to have awesome dishes with locally sourced food, and great craft beers. I had the crispy Brussels sprouts and they are amazing! Also they have awesome specials that are unique to the area. They have 15 taps with an awesome verity of beers and signature cocktails. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped here on way home from a mini-road trip with friends. As we were walking in saw waitress carry out plates of fish and chips to people sitting on the outside deck...Looked wonderful, 2 huge pieces of fried fish/french fries and coleslaw..Made my mind up right then and there that I would have the fish. Two of us ordered the... More

I gave this place quite a few chances. The service is terrible. The last time I went, our waitress seated us and got our drinks. After we had already picked out food to order she told us they were out of chicken, which consists of most of their menu. Prices have been raised way too high for the quality of... More

It seems as though they changed chefs. It is Worth another visit. The tomato salad is a must, it has beautiful heirloom tomatoes sitting atop a pesto foam...yum! Burgers and beer all done to perfection.

I had a seafood stew the last time I was at Taps, and it was great. Really good beer selection too. Burgers are really good. Don't mind the bar appearance. My 89-year-old mom goes there with us.

In the sleepy town this is an awesome little restaurant / bar. With great beers on tap, good food (we love the wings and if you get there during the maple festival even better). No frills, no fuss just good food and fun. Staff is always helpful with beer selection, not pushy and just good Vermont folk. Ohh and the... More
