We had a nice lunch of soup and sandwiches, plus a giant cookie here. About a dozen sandwich choices, and they were accommodating of substitutions. The dining area is very small, just as an FYI. Order and pay at the counter type operation. We'll be back.

First of all for what you get, it shouldn't be a $ it should be a $$ because it wasn't much for a breakfast and everything tasted like it was quickly re-heated or made in a microwave. My bacon looked nothing like that picture. However the Organic breakfast blend coffee was tasty. They were fast too. I will give them... More

We have been coming here every time we visit Stowe over New year's. Tim makes excellent prepared foods and always remembers us, which makes us feel part of the town. The Cafe is a fun place to stop in for breakfast or lunch. Egg salad sandwich is great, as is the broccoli salad. Good for vegetarians.

As my title said, Cafe on Main is probably the best sandwich, soup, cake shop in Stowe. Conveniently located smack in the middle of town. Fleshly made and filled high. You will leave pleasantly full with a wonderful memory of a great tasting sandwich/soup. I look forward to the opening of their new restaurant (which is going to be up... More

Sometimes it can be difficult ordering food away from home since we are vegan. The customer service here was unparalleled. They made a customized breakfast for us: sautéed veggies and hash browns and it was amazing. The coffee and orange juice were also fantastic. Location was fun and we will definitely return next time we are in Stowe.

There were so many great places to eat in Stowe, Vermont, but after having the sandwiches and soup at Cafe on Main, we were hooked. We never wanted to waste a lunch break for any other place. The sandwiches, especially the BLT, were unbelievable. The soup is in an extra large bowl, and was perfection. The staff are kind, and... More

We stopped by for a quick breakfast that ended taking an hour. We asked for over easy eggs and both were close to over hard. Then we waited over 20 minutes to get them made again. Someone told me that they are expanding into a new space which is bigger. This will help, as this place can only hold about... More

My husband and I wanted a good breakfast instead of hotel breakfast. We walked over to Cafe on Main and we were not disappointed in their food. I had an omelet and my husband had the breakfast special, and of course, we left with hot muffins and cookies for the road!! Great breakfast place and the staff was very friendly!!
