The gondola ride up Mansfield and the views from the restaurant make the $$ worth it! The staff are friendly too!

You can walk up the mountain or take the gondola. There is outdoor seating. The crab cake was really good but the fennel salad was nit etible because it was smoothered in dressing. The ginger carrot soup did not taste homemade as the ginger was bitter. The falfel was good. Service was just ok.

I have been up to the Cliff House a zillion times over the years and I still love the views no matter what the season. The only real issue is if you are not an annual pass holder you have to pay the $25 per person to get to the Cliff House. Once that trauma is over the views take... More

The views are amazing! You can sit and sip on a beer or chard and just take in the breath taking views. Food is average.

We recently dined here for lunch for a special birthday. It's a very worthwhile experience - for locals and visitors alike! Even though it's owned/operated by Stowe Mountain Lodge, to get there you follow the signs to Stowe Mountain to get on the gondola. Park in the main parking lot at the base of the mountain and walk to the... More

Since we were still full from breakfast, just had hot chocolate and appetizers. Not to be missed is the fried Brussel sprouts - pass on the pickled vegetables. Hot chocolate was excellent, serving staff great,,.couldnt ask for better. I would have eaten lunch here.

The price was high, but what you should expect at the top of a high-end resort. Fortunately lunch was good (although service was slow). BLT was a creative twist on a classic sandwich. I wasn't a huge fan of the tomato jam but my wife liked it. As other reviews mention, the view is spectacular on a clear day.

The restaurant is accessed via a gondola ride up Mt. Mansfield! We expected it to be expensive but found that the menu suits all possibilities. And oh what a view. Clouds rolled over the mountain top while we were eating and rain broke out but quickly dissipated. Fascinating!

We stopped for lunch here while touring with a car club. The gondola ride up offered good views but there is not much to do (aside from dining or using the zip line) once you have reached the top. We had a section to ourselves and the restaurant had prepared a special menu with options for our group (22 people).... More
