The Blackback Pub was busy on the Wednesday evening we stayed in Waterbury. We enjoyed the large selection of local beers, and they didn't mind us moving around once a table opened up that would allow a more comfortable eating experience. Rustic, casual atmosphere, good...More

My favorite place in Waterbury. Amazing beer list. Lots of Hill Farmstead choices. The food was delicious too. Do not sleep on the cold peanut noodles. They were really really good. Great atmosphere too. Huge wrap around bar, but small dining area. Get here early...More

The Blackback has expanded where the food and waitstaff continue to offer consistent quality. The menu is always interesting but still retains its old favorites. The staff and management are cheerful, energetic and responsive.

Ashley Thanks for your feedback and review. Pricing is a tough one...we do our best to keep our beers reasonably priced, and the overhead in check. We'll keep trying. Cheers, Blackback Pub

We had a good lunch of sandwiches (bbq pork, turkey & salami, fresh tomato caprese, yum) and Mac n cheese. They have a great selection of craft beers on tap, particularly if you like IPAs. Service was friendly and efficient.
