Came here while in the area for some cheap eats. Prices were good, food not so bueno. Melted American cheese was poured onto my fajita burrito as well as my gfs tacos. On a plus side the hot sauce was great! The place is comfort and not so much Mexican!

This little strip mall taco shop has food that is as good or better than the larger Mexican restaurants in the area and is delivered to your table hot, fresh and fast....and cheap! I have been taking my family of four here for years and we are usually under $40.00 total. This is not a fancy place but it is... More

A local institution, Tippy's is a throw back to the 1960's & 1970's when most Americans had never heard the word "fajita". It's cheap, consistent, friendly, quick and tasty. But comparing it to contemporary Mexican, or even the mom and pop Mexican restaurants of the West Coast is like eating a Philly cheese steak and comparing it to The Palm.... More

Nothing fancy, but a good cheap place with nice staff. Get some hard shell tacos and queso... don't forget the birch beer.

Gotta love Tippy's Taco House! I have been following Tippy's for decades! Great food for little $$$$. The food is not gourmet, and the place has NO ambiance. But if you want to chow down on some tacos, enchiladas drenched in their great hot sauce, you won't be disappointed.

I was so surprised to see Tippys. I practically lived at the one in Burke. That seems like many moons ago. I always liked the margarita machine there. Had a bean burrito would have rather had better cheese in it. The hot sauce is good, not too spicy. Friends had chili cheese rice, it still tastes the same as it... More

My husband ordered a fajita burrito and they used lunch meat (?) for the chicken. No peppers, but lots of shredded lettuce on a hot burrito. I had the tacos. Pre-fab shells, nothing homemade here. Bland guacamole. Kinda dirty. Would never go back.

Tippy's is a staple to Centreville. Food is always consistent, service is fast, and prices are incredibly cheap. It is so easy to find coupons online as well. Yes, the interior could be more modern, but it really gives a homey feel.

Tippy's is not a tablecloth restaurant. You order at the counter after reading the extensive menu on the wall and your food is brought to the table. What the staff brings is excellent. Our burrito, enchiladas and frijoles were excellent. The counter staff is friendly (my first time at a Mexican restaurant run by sub-continent Indians) and they get your... More

Tippys is always good for the Mexican taste on a budget! I love the tacos, taco salad and pretty much all the dinner combinations...the best part is the service and price!
