This place is as the name implies "an old mill" situated on a meandering river but still has modern conveniences. The service was friendly and fast for food prepared fresh. Our food was delicious. After eating we took advantage of the location and fed the many ducks on the river. Well worth the short drive to Damascus to eat here.

My wife and I decided to stop for an evening meal after a short site seeing drive. The food we ordered (hamburgers) came as ordered and tasted good. One of the items on the menu was not available at the time, or we would probably have eaten something different. We sat with a "river view" inside. They also have an... More

The inn was nice. Restaurant was ok. The breakfast, which was included with inn stay, was disappointing. Ran out of hot food.

We stopped in after riding the Creeper, for lunch. Service was very slow, to the point I walked to the bar to get my beers. It was approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes before our food came. They were not busy at the time we were there and they had multiple staff members walking around. The food was ok to... More

This place looked nice and had a good view of the river. We went multiple times just for the view. The food was hit or miss. The sandwiches are the only worthwhile items. The entries and specialty items were not good at all. Poorly prepared and presented with generic flavors and small sizes. The staff did not seem to know... More

This restaurant is large and can easily accommodate groups for seating but seemed slow in putting together the food ordered for our large group.

Took an older friend to lunch. Restaurant was wheel chair accessible and had good access. Service was fast and food was well prepared and plentiful. With 20% tip, an appetizer, 2 very large burgers with sides, and two non-alcoholic drinks were almost $50. Waitress was great and very attentive and efficient. I feel lucky to have a restaurant of this... More

Last night we had the occasion to give the Old Mill another try. We live here, so we're not just passing through. We've lived in this area for the past 13 years it's sad to say that STILL, no one has been able to take advantage of the Old Mill's natural charm. I've lived in New York (Staten Island) San... More

We were able to sit outside by the "waterfall" people its a dam. The service was slow but we were not in a hurry so it was not a problem. When I ordered I asked questions to be sure the grild cheese sweet potato glazed onions and carrots was not too sweet and that it did not have meat in... More

It shouldn't take 1:45 to get a burger. They were definitely understaffed for the night. The food was great!
