Eggs Benedict was perfect. The eggs were perfectly cooked over a lightly toasted english muffin with grilled Canadian bacon smothered in rich hollandaise sauce. Home fries were lightly sautéed with grilled onions. Best in town!

Our group of four ate here for dinner and breakfast. Virginia Peanut soup was on the menu. When we mentioned we’d never heard of peanut soup, our waiter brought each of us a small sample. Needless to say, three of us order it with our salad. Excellent flavor – cream and a little peanut butter make this a delicious choice.... More

In the downtown heart of Leesburg lies a hidden breakfast gem, Georgetown Cafe and Bakery Shop. Baked products like the biscuits are made in house, but they function as a cafe not a bakery, name notwithstanding. A name change was attempted, but the historical review board was having none of it - that was the original name of that historic... More

The burger and French dip were both tasty. Breakfast food is only served until noon. "Bakery" didn't jump out at me (nothing displayed) so I can't vouch for that. Service was polite, but, waiting 25 minutes for simple food seemed excessive. If you're just in the 'hood, no hurry, light lunch, it's probably a good value compared to the neighbors.

We live in Leesburg and have been there twice. Both times were horrible. It's not a Cafe, or a bakery. They serve burgers and sandwiches with fries, and couldn't sell you a croissant if their life depended on it. The first time, we got a burger and french dip sandwich. The burger was merely mediocre, but the french dip was... More

My husband and I are spoiled rotten. We travel all over the world and stay in wonderful places and eat in 5 star restaurants. We were shocked at the room at the Colonial Inn which is the adjoining hotel to the Georgetown Cafe. It was bare bones and badly in need of a face lift. However, we slept well and... More

Cute place with friendly service. Good prices. Reminded of the "old Leesburg" days. Liked the fact that the kitchen was not "open" to the public, so the noise level was low (unlike SO Many restaurants today) Noise level is an important issue today.

Perhaps this is an unfair review, but this wasn't at all what I was expecting based on its name. After eating lunch, we were looking for coffee and dessert and I expected to see a bakery counter with a variety of offerings, along with a choice of coffees. It appeared to just be a regular cafe with a handful of... More

Had a good breakfast this morning. Everything was exactly as it should be. Hot coffee, good service, clean surroundings and good food. I tried the Farmer's Omelette: mash potatoes and bacon and cheese. Very good and a nice change. Not to heavy on the potatoes. This place is strike zone for a good breakfast. I'll be back.

My friend and I went here for breakfast after finding the Leesburg Diner closed. It was a hopping place as they were the only place really open for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was crowded when we got there, but we were soon seated. My biggest complaint is that they didn't appear to have enough servers to handle the... More
