Breakfast here on a Sunday while visiting Masssanutten was fast and easy. Food was typical diner food that is good, hot, and service fast. No complaints- it is what you would expect. Pancakes were good and hubby's burrito huge, bacon crisp, home fries yummy. Would come back again

We read reviews that recommended this place and we are glad we listened. The breakfast was delicous. I got the blueberry french toast which was french toast with 2 mounds of bluberries mixed in a cream cheese-whip cream mix on the french toast. Very filling and different. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well. We stopped in... More

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Highly recommend the Rachel's favorite dish. I've been here for lunch before too and the burgers / fries are really good too!

We ate lunch there twice in a week. The first time, others in my party ordered breakfast. The omelets were generously stuffed and the hash browns were perfectly cooked. I had a pimento cheese sandwich, which I remembered from three years prior. Just as yummy this time: homemade bread, homemade pimento cheese with a little kick. The second time, others... More

Enjoyed the dinner here. Great break from the routine road stops and resort prices. Our server was informative about the area and familiar with all attractions in the area - very helpful.

Hamburger and fries were mediocre at best-nothing phenomenal! Very friendly staff and clean, trendy decor.

The Thunderbird Café doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside the food is just fantastic, and the service is certainly pretty fantastic too! As a party of 4, we all had something different for breakfast on our first visit. The French toast was the best I have ever had with blueberry cream cheese, dusted in powder sugar and... More

We had breakfast at the Thunderbird, and didn't need to eat again until dinner time. Came hungry and left satisfied. Very friendly and helpful wait staff too.

We are in town for a wedding. Went to Thunderbird Cafe at the Groom's recommendation. WOW!! What a delicious meal! We had thick bacon, creamy grits, biscuits & gravy.....the buttermilk biscuits were amazing!! We left at 10:00am and there was a wait - go early for a seat. We will return for sure!!

Breakfast was delicious. The homemade sausage was a little spicy and a little sweet with a real depth of flavor, which made for a great omelet. Speaking of the omelet, never saw eggs that thick feel/taste so light -- they must've whipped the hell out them. Pancake fantastic. The one thing that fell short was the smoked barbecue (Hank's) --... More
