Place smells like frier oil, terrible service, limited menu options, (mostly all fried foods) nasty Onion rings, uncomfortable booths

I ordered the flounder with a baked potato. I think the potato could have been left over from the previous day--very, very overcooked. My flounder was fried to the point that it was dry. Had it been perfectly fried, it would have been delectable. Oh, did I mention my food arrived cold???? We waited almost 30 minutes before our server... More
I would not waste my time getting off the interstate for this place. The food was just average at best and the prices were way to high. The dinners did not come with a salad (extra $1.50 if you give up one of your sides). Bread was an extra dollar and a half. Below average salad bar so we didn't... More
This is the restaurant closest to a scuba diving location and the hotel and restaurant are modest looking but the staff is extremely friendly and the fried chicken is excellent. I have had other meals here and can say that I have never been disappointed.
We stopped in at Nottoway Restaurant on our way home. It is just of I-85 on Route 1. Great home cooking is what we got. We had 2 entree's, salad bar and dessert, all delish. We would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great home cooked meal.
Not much food on 85 between Richmond and Nottoways. Good local joint. Mid price range. Salad bar, fried catfish was good, fried shrimp was good, also stuff like ham steaks, burgers, fries, fresh pies for dessert. Very friendly people. Only motel, fuel, and Duncan Doughnuts at exit. Give it a try clean and friendly don't be scared that it a... More

The had a selection of Virginia Rosemont wines available. We didn't sample their desserts. One Note: If you are looking for Brunswick stew ( due to the county being famous for it's creation) , they... More

Ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu to go and the chicken was so small, old and dry I couldn't eat more than two bites. The fries also so burnt I threw it all away. Complete waste of money!
