Hacienda de Palmeras is located in Brgy. Sta Maria which is about 15 minutes away from the city proper. They serve the most delicious Crispy Pata and Lechon Kawali. Another favorite is their Bopez. Aside from that they also offer Japanese dishes at Eureka. If you wish to have the best of everything, I suggest you try their special bilao.... More

This restaurant is probably one of the oldest in Zamboanga City, Philippines. The bilao is particularly nice - the lechon kawali that goes with it is amazing! The outdoor ambience is perfect. Those that want airconditioned dining can be accommodated easily as Palmeras Hacienda has this also. "Compliments to the Chef!" seems to be the common reaction of diners.

Best seafood restaurant in Zamboanga! Everything was delicious. The decor of the restaurant is a little dated but the food makes up for it!

Read a handful of reviews that this restaurant is a must-try, so we went and tried. The menu did not quite have extraordinary dishes. Well, since the city is known for seafood, we ordered the seafood platter and some fried chicken. It was not bad, just right. No "wow" factor but it will have to do. BUT... The knickerbocker was... This for me is hands down, the best restaurant in the city. Food is good, and deliciously prepared. try their pancit molo soup- a soup fare with siomai-like and chicken bits famous in Ilo-ilo. They are the only one serving this soup in the city. Their dinuguan is one of the best, and the New York halo halo desert is... More

Local refer to this place as simply Palmeras. It has been operating for a long time and dare I say they have perfected the food they offer. It's not perfect, but coming here is a must when in town. FOOD Food is always great. I recommend their Special Bilao (a platter of select dishes like calamari, adobo, lechon kawali, shrimp,... More

Need a reservation to get a good spot/table. Food is excellent! Some areas do require mosquito repellant. Overall 4 out of 5.

From someone who is from Luzon, it was such a treat to taste their knickerbucker --fresh fruits with jelly topped with ice cream. Another must-try is their sizzling bulalo. Serving time is about 30-40 min... Hotel was nice, clean, and affordable. Customer service, excellent.

This restaurant is located approximately 8 km from the city proper, but still customers' cars cue endlessly. It is mainly because of their Crispy Pata, which you can order in terms small, medium, or large. Though their bilao is also a feast to enjoy, and more so their knicker-bucker will be worth a try.

Zamboanga dining is slow dining. Be ready for: (1) long waits for orders and (2) items in the menu not being available. That being said, Palmeras provides the best value for money for me, despite the usual full-packed house and slow service. The serving sizes are very large and the food is very delicious. Prices are very reasonable and you... More
