Bohemian atmosphere. We were there when a big poem festival was on the way. Lot of Europeans around. The music was encouraging you to have as many beers till you feel cooled down. Local version of a classic pub. Enjoy !

About the worst fish & Chips ever - cold and not crispy. "Large pork chop" was more like thin and small. Overpriced for what we received. Local beer was great. Go for drinks & skip the food.

Sitting under the stars for dinner in January was a great treat for us. (we're from NE, USA) It's quite a lively scene with great fish and chips, didn't try any other items on the menu. The owner came to our table for a chat, a very interesting fellow. Prices are incredibly good.

Their service is awful. We ordered food at a time when other people were. Over an hour later, seemingly local people were being served food "for here" and "to go." I approached the server and was told for the first time that the kitchen was closed. I then addressed the issue, including that my order was taken and I was... More

We were looking forward to coming back to O'Sheas as we had eaten here several times last year and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this year's experience was a little disappointing. The shepherds pie was warm but not overly hot and didn't come with the little garlic toasts that we so enjoyed last year. Service was good but not great. Again,... More

Came with six international friends, none of them Irish. We sat on the street outside, (in chairs, at a table, of course) and luckily we are all seasoned enough to politely deflect the tsunami of panhandlers and vendors that ply this stretch. We were offered the table right away, but after that, the service rapidly descended to the beer cellar.... More

The food is good, especially the fish and chips, and they have a good beer selection. The owner, Tommy, is friendly and helpful. Outside gets a little loud but inside was fine.

From the moment we walked in for a coffee the staff couldn't do enough for us. We were so pleased we decided to stay for dinner and had shepards pie which was as good as anything I've ever eating in Ireland. Tommy made us feel very welcome and organised tvs so a group of us could watch the football final... More

I believe they have a jewel here, but they are not taking care of it. waiters are not really paying attention on their customers, they don't even have a recommendation for dinner nor offer a special drink, they should try to keep customers coming, instead it seems like employees don't like what their job.
