Had iced coffee and cake. Great place for a break from the heat. Relaxing and fast service. Good choice to visit.

I ate at Espressonista for dinner with 7 other adults and we had a superb experience! The appetizers, entrees, dessert and wine were all drool-worthy. The pork salad was my favorite appetizer, everything had such great flavor. I had the osso bucco tagliatelle for my entree and the fudge for dessert - highly recommend. Very cool decor and vibes inside... More

Tasted the best artesanal beers made in my beautiful country Nicaragua, also the decoration is the best in the town and this place with the beautiful attention stole again my heart!

The setting was very promising – spacious restaurant with eclectic décor. The service was lovely. The food however was not that fabulous. The Thai Salad was a very tasty starter, however the ossobucco pasta was far from convincing. The flavour was rather bland and the meat too dry. On top of that the wine was very pricy. I imagine this... More

We went here for our last dinner in Nicaragua, recommended to us by our B&B hostess. The food is unique and priced on the high end, so we saved it for this special occasion. We enjoyed our meals (I had the ossobucco while my husband had the steak) and the service was attentive but relaxed. We were told all of... More

Espressonista was a great stop during our day and we wished that we stayed for dinner. Their coffee is excellent and they have a small but really good selection of wine. The whole vibe is very chic and casual. They have a beautiful painted tin ceiling and carved wood doors. The owner was so nice and really took the time... More

I haven't tried all Granada restaurants, but this may be the best restaurant in Granada. We loved the creative vibe of cafe and restaurant. We chose to stay up front in the less formal cafe as the furniture was very chic, yet antique-style French country. So gorgeous. The food was devine. We started with a mackeral special and both chose... More

Really excellent coffee in a very relaxed atmosphere. We had trouble with the language initially but a Good Samaritan came to our aid and acted as interpreter for us. My wife only drinks tea, to my coffee, but they had a good black tea available much to my surprise. Nice open and airy cafe with excellent wifi for those who... More

The place is eclectic in its style, but it the deliberate way artistic people tend to arrange think is eye pleasing displays. Even the bathroom is a work of art.

highly recommended for a good coffee. After a few visits, I got to have some nice conversations (mostly in English, but he tolerated my bad Spanish) with the owner.

Description
Modern environment in a neoclassical property constructed in 1886. We've forged a relationship with Nicaragua's best coffee producers to provide you with an excellent cup. High altitude, shade grown boutique crops yield coffees with a crisp and balanced acidity, roundness, sweetness and rich chocolate-like brews. These farmers know what they do. The poetry is ever intended at Espressonista. On your table we serve local, slightly smoked ham. The brie, the camembert and manchego are also from Masatepe and Matagalpa. Organic lettuce, baby asparagus and other greens from Ticuantepe. Chez nous, we know where everything comes from. We bake our own pastries and breads, make our own ice creams, brew our own beer. We love food, drink and good company. Join us!
