A little family run place in the main square opposite the church in this sleepy little village on the hill opposite Ravello. Make reservations with them in the next door cafe. A small menu guarantees fresh produce; all dishes are proudly and caringly served with a lovely artistic flair. Nice food and nice too to be away from the crowds... More

We ate twice at dei Cavalieri during our recent 10 day holiday in Scala and the Amalfi area. It was by far the best mid price range restaurant that we went to in the area (including Ravello). Small and intimate, the staff are friendly and the food is just great. If you get the chance have the lemon spaghetti (yes,... More

A small family Mansi restaurant with great food and good service. Between the 4 of us we had quite a number of dishes, all of which were most enjoyable. It is very small (seats about 18) so you need to book - It was full on the night we went but luckily we had booked.

Outside it looks a very unassuming place and easily missed, but the food was incredible. We ate there two nights running. The first night was good, the second night I had pasta with mussels in a saffron sauce which was subtle and fragrant. The profiteroles with a lemon flavour cream and sauce was probably the best dessert I have ever... More

This wonderful place is run by a family who welcome you warmly, even with a visit to the kitchen to see what is on offer that evening. They are passionate about their food and relish feedback about every dish only wishing you enjoyed yourselves, we most certainly did and i heavily recommend it, a wonderful family run restaurant.

We have been to Michelin-star restaurants all over the world, but seldom wished to come back for more the next day. Not so with this tiny, family-run restaurant on the central piazza of sleepy Scala on the Amalfi coast. We would gladly takle the 2500 steps from Amalfi just to eat here (you can take the SITA bus, mind you).... More

Suck lovely people and such great authentic food, we ate there three times, and the food and service were impeccable. Very traditional food, the ravioli was divine and they serve a delightful pistachio ice cream. Scala has it's own local wine, which was euro 10 for a litre, don't let the cheap price put you off, it is great! The... More

We meandered through the Scala Square and ate here en famille over the course of several evenings. It is excellent and great value for money. The staff are very welcoming and we sampled pretty much everything on the menu as we ranged in size from a group of 13 to 6 over the course of the week. It's rather unimposing... More

We were staying in Scala and went to the restaurant one evening. It is intimate - only five or so tables. The staff did not speak English and our Italian was limited but it did not detract from the evening of fine food and service. The menu was based around local dishes and I think we paid around 100 Euro... More
