From the minute we walled in we had fab services.. however we walked up from our apartment which was pretty eventful!! But was indeed worth it.. fried courgette flowers and squid salad were both great but the reviews were right! The bread you receive on arrival beats anything we have had in Italy to date!! Just go, no more needs... More

Eat here 5 nights out of our 10 night stay at nearby hotel. All food was quality and well presented. (Rabbit really is not to be missed). Service was excellent and with majority of staff able to speak English, ordering and understanding was easy! Wine excellent, even house offering. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited here upon a recommendation of our nearby hotel. Tucked away in a beautiful natural setting, with lots of space, yet an intimate setting. Wait staff was very friendly and there was an excellent pianist playing live music in the background for a very long set. Food was tasty and many local wines were on offer. Highly recommended, despite the... More

It's a little bit hard to understand where exactly this place is located, because the signals are not very precise. By the way the place is very cool. There are a lot of plants and it's very cosy. Inside the restaurant there is a piano player very good and the atmosphere is very suggestive. We decided to take three different... More

This is my favourite restaurant in Ischia Island. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a nice dinner enjoying also the nature and great hospitality. It is family run, so you will feel like at home and the food (especially the rabbit) they serve is amazing!

The restaurant is one of three in the Mountains outside Forio. The three restaurants are all worth the taxi or bus tour up in the Mountains. Montecorvo is the gourmet alternative of the three, and also the only with seafood on the menue. The food is excellent, extremely tasty, and the service is good. Reservation is essential. In addition to... More

We visited Montecorvo at the recommendation of our hotel, La Tenuta del Poggio Antico, just a quick walk away. We were not disappointed. The hospitality and service we received was second to none - it was so refreshing to see people take such pride in their food and their work. Every recommendation from our server was incredible. I have celiac... More

Really excellent food, specialising in meat dishes, but a couple of fish dishes on request. Friendly staff.

Probably the best of the 3 restaurants in the immediate area. The food is good, staff friendly and professional and the setting is spectacular. Do have a look inside even if like most people you choose to do e AL fresco, the mementos inside reinforce the family quality of the restaurant.

I'd read about this restaurant on Lonely Planet and our hotel concierge also recommended it, so I was expecting great things and it didn't disappoint. We got a taxi there and I'm not sure how easy it is to find on foot. The restaurant is in a lush garden setting and family run, so you get well looked after. A... More

Just 1 km from the hamlet of Panza, Forio d'Ischia, the Montecorvo is a cozy restaurant nestled in the countryside between Ischia. Few tables, pieces of art chosen with great taste, a well and a fireplace carved into the stone green (inside). In hot weather it can dine on the romantic terrace garden, exotic plants and water features created by the fountains. Our specialties are the rabbit in clay pot and the meat in general with a wide selection of fresh local seafood also available in variants traditional, yet innovative, our thinking is to propose traditional dishes with the touch of individuality that does not go to distort the history of our land. Among the main courses are between the various choices also the pasta with rabbit sauce, linguine with mussels, clams and prawns, paccheri pesto with parsley and anchovies. Imaginative appetizers such as stuffed zucchini flowers, eggplant burgers, our pizza with gorgonzola cheese, anchovies of lemon leaf and specialties to discover. How sweet the caprese, the baba, the cake napoleon, the pears and cottage cheese. Montecorvo The restaurant is located 500 meters from the sports field of Panza (opposite the junction to Panza in the municipality of Forio). Time Walk 10-15 minutes, five minutes by car.
