This hidden place in the weird hole in the side of the cliff offer plastic chairs and cheap looking decor, which to some might send a message to not go. But the food will blow you away, i suhgest especially to try saute di vongole!

The place is located in a creek that can be reached by a taxi boat. The boat drop you on the beach and then it is 200 meters in the creek to the restaurant. It is nice taverna with tasty local food but not more than that

After reading about this little gem in The Wall Street Journal, we weren't disappointed. A family affair, casual and perfect for meal after the afternoon at the beach or thermal springs. Delicious salads, grilled prawns and octopus and offered gluten free pasta! 1/2 litre of house vino for €4. Went back twice, loved it!

discovered this restaurant in a valley behind our hotel (The Regina Mare) we had a total of 5 meals there, the pasta dishes are really good but everything they use is very good quality, the salads and fish very fresh and tasty. the staff are very welcoming with a good understanding of English. It was always busy on our visits... More

Sailing to the marina. Taking a water taxi to a strange place Walking 5 minutes and you are in a family stile restaurant. Having pasta sea food and all other good food. Enjoyed it very much.

The Brushetta side starter was excellent and so were the lightly fried anchovies. We had a type of small fish also lightly fried with a side of spinach all delicious! Then the main course of Sea Bass, others had the linguini with clams. House table white was typical Italian wine from Ischia, good. Service great. Beignets and coffee followed by... More

Family run restaurant that is simple and homely. Food is classic, but basic. Fantastic value for money, but with its plastic chairs and table covers for us I think it is more of a lunch than dinner place.

Proper family run restaurant with great food and very competitive prices. There is literally all the family over the place, everyone is helping out which is unique and surely characteristic of this beautiful country. Do not expect anything 'restaurant looking like" because this is mainly a house's terrace with some tables and chairs. The food is great though and the... More

We went to this taverna for our last night on Ischia. We were staying in an hotel on Maronti beach and unfortunately there's not much to do at night - all bars and restaurants close end of afternoon. We were delighted to find this taverna where we felt such a good vibe as soon as we arrived. The whole family... More

This restaurant is GREAT! Everytime I visit Ischia I just have to go here! One time the boats didnt sail out because of the storm, and we decided to climb the mountain to get here, just so we could eat in this place! It is not the most easy to reach place, but thats why you find more locals than... More
