Great old fashioned. Great craft beer. But be warned if you only drink bud light they don't carry beers like that!

Parking is limited but there is a lot. I was initially impressed with the bar. Excellent selection of scotch. Unfortunately way overpriced. $16 for 3oz is steep for standard single malts. I had a great burger but subbed out fries for blue collar Mac and cheese. Very good food but the wait staff was a little slow.

I was hesitant about the Public House since I'm more of a wine drinker, and "pub fare"doesn't just grab me. Pleasant surprise! Everyone at our large table found something to love. Really interesting appetizers were passed around as we selected Mac and Cheese, Bangers and Mash, shrimp, sandwiches, vegetable and salad choices, something for everyone. The house red wasn't bad,... Despite having several other recommendations on "can't miss" places in Norfolk, a friend and I stumbled onto the Public House as parking was a mess around Granby Street (the location of the other restaurants.) We weren't disappointed. With at least 20 beers on tap, there is something for everyone. I ordered the Chicken & Waffles sandwich, a concoction of two... More

What an interesting restaurant. Stopped by Friday the 13th, a day usually associated with strange happenings and superstitions but not this day, It was perfect, a little chill in the air and a few friends in tow as we descended upon the staff who greeted us with a warm welcome and a ringside seat to yumminess. The fare here is... More

Went there last night with my lady. VERY good food!!! Pretty darn good beer selection... huge variety of liquor over at the bar. Whole place was very old school pub lookin'. I saw pool tables as we walked up, but didn't partake. We had the bacon-wrapped tots as an appetizer... PHENOMENAL 😛 My girl had the buffalo chicken sandwich and... More

My wife and I stopped by the Public House for dinner on New Year's Day, after seeing a movie at MacArthur Mall. My wife ordered the Farmer's Pie and I ordered the Pastrami sandwich. The Farmer's Pie was pretty good, but the ingredients in the bottom weren't mixed very well. The meat in my Pastrami sandwich was tough and stringy.... More

I love the food here. It is always delicious! I cannot get enough of the blue collar mac and cheese with chicken. Added buffalo sauce with the recommendation of our bartender. Holy smokes! So delicious! The service is never bad, but sometimes it's just average.

We arrived early for dinner on a Monday night, so the place and its parking lot were fairly empty. In fact, I hesitated going in because the outside seemed dark (black paint, dark windows) and uninviting. But we decided to give this place a try. Inside it was dark (low lit) also. But the waitress was cheery and there were... More

Two of us went for a quick dinner and loved the atmosphere, service and meals. Connor was the perfect server. He was attentive, a great help choosing the perfect brew and allowed us time to sit and chat. We enjoyed the asparagus and the grilled cheese was amazing!
