We went to this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel and it was late, absolutely loved it from the moment I saw it! It's an old church , has two floors, the pews are used on the tables, lots of old details!...More

I have been here several times and the food has always been consistantly wonderful...French dip is my husbands favorite. There is parking around back so you don't have to worry about parking on street..The restaurant was once a church very neat inside:)

The ribs ($16) are just outstanding and one pound is very filling. The fried green tomato sandwich ($10) was delious. These two items coupled with a side salad ($4 each) for each of us made for a hearty meal.

Yes! We can accommodate almost all allergies, we always ask that you let your server know of your specific allergies so they can communicate to the kitchen and we can ensure every precaution is taken on your meals.

We at Freemason Abbey always recommend reservations, just to be on the safe side! And we are about a 7-10 minute drive from Douglas Wilder Performing Arts center

Freemason Abbey is 4 blocks from Chrysler Hall, it is about a 10 minute walk. Often guests will park in the Chrysler Hall parking garage and walk to us for dinner, then walk to the show so that they are close to their cars... More
