Hiked here from Frigliana in 30 degree sun (yes mad dogs and English men). Arrived just as the kitchen shut but was offered croquettes, home made bread and oil. Simple but absolutely incredible. Lovely staff. The 'Lost village' itself isn't all that...just a couple of...villas...but its worth making the effort to visit the restaurant. Its only small so I'd bookMore

The location is a bit chanllenging to get to as the roads are a mix of concrete based and gravel and one way. Once we arrived the restaurant is located in a very small and charming location. The food is delicious, the bread is expectacular...and great home made desserts. mostly game food with the deer stew being one of the best main dishes. We made a reservation for 9 the day before and we were accomodated in two seperate tables in order to comply with COVID standards. Before you depart, you must stop by the shop down hill from the restaurant and get the homemade Mango Jam. Delicious!More

The history of this place is amazing and so is the restaurant. The home made bread was huge and very heavy but great flavour. The venison and wild boar were so tender- melted in the mouth. Made such a change to get something different. Not...cheap but a one off place. The restaurant inside is so cute even selling homemade bread. The owner Antonio took us up to his garden and picked us some celery and habas. Such a lovely man (he's the man who restored the village) We also purchased some avocado marmalade, fresh goats cheese and moscatel Great hospitality and we will defo be back.More

A unique area with nice food. It’s always better to book in advance. They have one of the best homemade bread.

Fantastic venue, beautiful scenery, amazing food, attentive friendly jovial staff. Our first visit and couldn't have felt more welcome. We had lunch of venison and wild boar, with home made bread and olive oil. Great value for money, if you want authentic Spanish cuisine this...is a must, nestled in the trees. It closes at 18.00 so make sure you come for lunch or early dinner.More

We hiked up from Frigiliana on a beautiful sunny day, fortunately we’d reserved a table and had a lovely, leisurely lunch. The service is great, friendly and unhurried despite the requirement for tables. My friend ordered the house salad as a main and it was...superb, I went for the Wild Boar which was to die for, best boar I’ve ever had anyway, I loved it. Oh and did I mention the home made bread, amazing... served simply with olive oil, herbs and sea salt, delicious. Shame I didn’t have space to try the desserts. Just have to hike back another time. It’s worth it!More
