We took a cab from Palma to Valldemossa (35 E). Spent the day exploring. It is a beautiful and relaxing place to spend the day, Beautiful mountain and village scenery!

We chose this restaurant for the view, after visiting Real Cartuja de Valldemosa. The surroundings and panorama of the hotel-restaurant Valldemosa are speechless, so so beautiful! It's true, the food is expensive but it's delicious. Still, the drinks are overpriced (water 550ml - 4 euro, beer 330ml - 5 euro). But we really enjoyed our lunch here, it was amazing.... More

If you have to go then go in the winter months or you will have your trousers taken down and your bottom spanked , and your wallet will be all the lighter for the bad experience ! Don't bother !

Such a beautiful town with great views of the surrounding countryside. It's such a shame that other than the actual buildings there is nothing left that's authentic. Everything is just geared up to take money off tourists. So many bars and restaurants are chains from elsewhere and all overpriced as are all the 'boutique ' shops. Worth a visit for... More

Really nice place up in the hills, plenty of restaurants and bars. There are gift shops and plenty to keep you busy for hours. We will defiantly return.

We spent half a day to visit this town close to Palma, we went by car and we were surprised about how beautiful it is! You have to park outside the town, as the whole center is peatonal. It's a typical Majorcan pueblo, and it's very rare to find something similar and so genuine in the rest of the island... More

Beautiful town with wonderful views. You get to mix with the real Mallorcans. Have lunch, buy a souvenir, visit the Chopin Museum, talk to the locals - they are very nice.

Valldemossa delights our senses with its classic and innovative cuisine. The extraordinary quality of its dishes combines the best local and international ingredients. Haute cuisine techniques and presentation are mixed with tradition and love; the trademarks of chef José Rodriguez. A carefully designed menu and dessert list are perfectly complemented by an extensive collection of wines. The restaurant is part of the magnificent but diminutive Hotel Valldemossa. Beauty, tradition, rusticity and elegance are seasoned with exclusive cuisine. The stunning views across the olive groves, orange orchards and the valley of Valldemossa is the ultimate complement.
