We were out shopping when we saw guy from restaurant advertising Sunday lunch and thought why not! Smashing place with sports and a flutter on offer! Nice lady taking bar orders etc no fuss! Just had a lovely beef dinner each and a couple of glasses of wine! Very reasonable and tasty! Didn't see many other places doing lunches so... More

Penny Lane doesn`t look much from the outside, just a line of windows and a few steps down to the venue. Once inside though, you will find a really clean place, (the ladies loo was spotless and smelt lovely) and really lovely staff. We ate breakfast there almost every day, egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tom`s, mushroom, black pudding, toast and... More

We where here last week when Cheltenham was on and found Penny Lane who had all the the horse racing on plus they've got a little bookies so you can have a bet. Cheap pint and a good atmosphere to spend the afternoon.

Eeeeer....not sure if it's changed hands but we went there on trip adviser feedback.probably ..no definitely the worst traditional roast ever made.chicken good, stuffing good ,tinned vegetables and I didn't even realise people still made mash from 'smash' from a packet.€9 for that is an absolute joke.your hearts not in it 'penny lane '.do not eat there.

Lovely quaint little bar/resteraunt. Staff really friendly and food also very good. I would highly recommend the platter with chicken goujons, onion rings, breaded mushrooms and extra! The only thing I wasn't keen on was the garlic bread as it was just a barmcake toasted with some sort of garlic paste maybe. Wasn't to my taste. Other than that I... More

Best breakfast in town served by very friendly staff. They couldn't do enough to help which was great as we were weaning our 8 month old. Started our day here each day and it set us up for the rest of the day.

We had breakfast here a few times during our stay on a break with a big group of friends. Opens at 9 and the breakfast is good just what you need on some days.
