If you've never tried Lebanese food and you'll be in Cadaques, this place is worth a try. The scenery is beautiful in the terrace area surrounded by blooming flowers. The owner is welcoming and friendly. For the first time, it's recommended to try the "Degustación" or tasting platter which gives you a variety of different types of food. One day... More

I can't do anything other than echo the comments of all the five star reviews here....boring but necessary Service is informal but caring, no fawning or swooning. No white table clothes and silverware. But a genuine warm welcome into a wonderful cool green patio area with bustle and energy. And although there are no surprises in the meze platters -... More

Somewhat hidden away from the route of the day-tourists, this is a really a local gem! The food is great and the experience better. The host impressed us by his ability to greet us in both of our native tongues. Also, as vegetarians it was great to find so many options, because the obligatory goat cheese salads in other restaurants... More

I dined at this restaurant back in 2012. It was low-season in october and I made a call to ask whether the restaurant would be open that evening. Owner and manager Sami was too kind to open the restaurant for us. The Mezzes and other dishes were tasty, well-prepared and well-presented. I can not forget the taste of the dessert... More

The only good thing was the site, very beautiful. Apart from that, this is NOT Lebanese food, nor resembles it. Been to the best Lebanese restaurants around the world and cook Lebanese food myself. Owner knows nothing about cooking Lebanese food. The restaurant counts on ignorant tourists who are trying the food for the first time or locals who have... More

Dear Mr. SAAB. When reading your review, it seemed to me that you were talking about another restaurant, then I realized that it was really us .. I can see that you are..."difficult" Reading and re-reading your criticism, I read only incredibly shocking things. Some Lebanese from Europe and Lebanon, as some Middle eastern guests came to us and regret... More

Just 50 meters up a narrow street from the marina, you will find this little oasis. Look for the wall of flowers and the bright blue door with Dalí's face (of course!). Step through the food and you will find yourself in a little garden courtyard full of antiques, flowers and lots of interesting decor. You will be greeted by... More

We had the joy of visiting El Barroco at our stay in Cadaques. The food was very tasty and the family running the restaurant was friendly and made us feel very welcome. We can recommend this place. Especially the falafel is a must. Enjoy!

Description
El Barroco "and" Cadaques ", two magical planets have been particularly related to the painter. Our hospitality, friendliness and atmosphere with each artist have created and try to keep accompanied by an excellent variety of Lebanese mezes, grilled fragrant spices of the East. In 1979, the great "Maestro" has created the logo "EL BARROCO" Once the "master" sent us a group of Chinese designer from San Francisco to make clothes for the opening night of the DALI Museum in Figueres. Dali reserved the "Patio" when waned to dine in el Barroco, always with his "Buick", wearing his black catalan sneakers with white spots, inviting hippies, gypsies and other people at its table to shock and provoke his distinguished guests, singing and dancing on the tables even while taking pictures from the event. After eating the grapes the Empordan, Dali was the first to leave the restaurant, to return a few days later. Dali's favorite foods - Steamed mussels taken near Cap de Creus Cap - Shoulder of lamb is Catalan. - Grilled lobster with garlic. - Grapes and Wine Muscat de l'Emporda. - The famous mineral water "Vichy Catalan." While simple Gala Menu was: - Poached Eggs. - Sardines in oil.

In wintertime, between September and March, it's highly recommend to send us an email to double check if restaurant is open. Thank you.
