My boyfriend and I visited this beautiful located restaurant during our holiday on the Costa Brava. We were postively surprised by the amazing cuisine, friendly service, and extraordinary menu & food. The team at Pahissa Del Mas uses local ingredients in a innovative and exciting...way and created for us a memorable dinner. After enjoying ourselves for dinner and on our way out, the headchef, even came out to ask us about our opinion and to thank us for our visit. Small additional services that makes your stay and gives you a complete dinner experience. Thank you so much for making this one of our favourite evenings during our holiday, Looking forward to visit again!More

Simple mas, easy to miss the turn off road - rewarded when you get there. Innovative cuisine based on local products - with a creative touch. Basics still excellent - even bread and habugo was a level up. One negative - fish was dry but...rest of meal excellent, with friendly attentive but not overbearing service....More

Best diner we had in a long time. All the dishes were perfectly cooked and a real taste sensation. Timing and portioning of the dishes were perfect. Staff very friendly. We had 3 course diner with a good bottle of white wine and coffee for...55 euro per person which is great value for money. We have been in a lot of restaurants in the region last 10 years, but this is without any doubt one of the best experiences. The setting is very nice in a nostalgic old cottage. Highly recommended!More

My wife and I have been twice to this restaurant during our 2 weeks holidays (once with my parents and once with friends). Both times were absolutely amazing! Whatever you chose on the menu, the food is sumptuous - literally melts in the mouth! The...service is best in class! Smiling, polite, discreet, all personal look after your satisfaction. The scenery is really nice, whether you decide to eat inside or outsideMore

I made a reservation on the phone and they were extremely friendly with me because they helped me out to get a personalized cake for my boyfriend. They gave us a very beautiful table outside far away from anyone else. Food was very good. The...manager recommended us a very nice wine which went very well with our selection. At the end they brought us the tailor made cake plus the gifts I gave them. Summarizing, great kitchen, lovely location, beautiful landscape and amazing customer service.More

Purely for our love of Spanish food and past experiences we booked PDMP based on trip advisor 9 months ago as we wanted a memorable family meal for the big birthday. We weren't disappointed. Amazing tasting menu in a beautiful location. So much care and...attention to every detail of the plates, tables, glasses, lighting its difficult to find anything but a 10/10 for everything. Tasting menus are for people to experience creativity and art- interesting flavours to inspire and delight, we weren't disappointed. Quite expensive but worth it for the memories. Rosa (the owner) was delightful and a perfect host. You will get you M star before long im sure. Best wishesMore

Visited this restaurant twice whilst on holiday in July 2018. Lovely renovated building in a very pleasant rural location. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and very well presented - hope to go back in 2019.

We visited this restaurant based on its good reviews and high rating in Trip Advisor. It was so good we returned a second time a week later with other friends and after two visits it is now the most recent addition to our bucket list...for the region. The interior of the restaurant is housed in the hayloft of the masia which has been in the family for six generations (the seventh being the children of the current owners). The hayloft has been renovated and takes center stage during the off season, but since we visited in August it is empty in the evenings and the action moves to a delightful paved terraza and adjoining lawn where the tables are set. We were seated a a table on the terraza but there were some tables placed on the lawn - we were told we could request this when booking. Given the proximity of the rice fields around Pals, there are some insects in summer. The staff place mosquito coils close to the lights on the terraza but we found it necessary to ask for extra coils to be placed around the table, which did the trick perfectly making me wonder why the staff weren’t more pro-active in offering to do this straight away. Having said that, the level of the attention otherwise from the front of house staff was excellent. The menu is well balanced with a variety of plates based on products typical of the region. The option of ordering entrees as media ración or full-ración is welcome as it allows smaller groups to still order a variety of entrees without over-ordering. There is a noticeable additional level of complexity to the plates through the addition of savours and textures to compliment or highlight the base product. These additions can hide a cheaper quality base product or bring little benefit (or even confusion) to the dish - but none of that here. The entree par excellence was the slow-boiled egg mixed with braised potato, foie gras and mushroom potato, recreated in the shape of a poached egg. The main course to recommend based on our experience would be the monkfish with black trumpet mushrooms and black romesco sauce - though I’m still intrigued by the black in the romesco sauce (I forgot to ask!) . Even the simplest of plates seemed to be successfully improved by unusual touches. The most obvious example was the recruit from Nuria in Ullastret. This is a dish which is served perfectly well as it comes from the farm with the simple addition of a local honey or confiture, but the dish served here seemed to have an additional creaminess to it with a slightly firmer core, with pistachio, basil and lime introduced as additional flavours. Success! Jordi (the chef) and his wife (in charge of the front of house) did the circuit of the tables at the end of the night to talk to the guests, with genuine interest in what we thought and eager to talk about the property, the business and the area. The restaurant is relatively new to the region but clearly offers a lot of potential. We liked it and it’s on our bucket list to return!More
