The food is authentic and awesome, from the cold sandwiches to the hot meatball. The pastas and pizzas are great to share. The restaurant is cozy but we have seen partys of up to 12 or more on occasion. If you love Italian food you...More
Our group attempted to get a place to eat during the popular weekend event, The Boat Parade. Knowing this we showed up early 4pm for dinner at Ciao. The owner was quite frantic and short tempered and at one point calling us a PIA, this...More

This the first time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and very fresh. Very good value for the money. Great location in the cute Balboa Island downtown. Within walking distance of shopping.
group of 10 (all ages) went here on a whim. It was excellent italian food. And this is coming from a New Yorker that eats Italian food (NYC area) on a regular basis.
Great service and good food. We had our last lunch of our stay in NB here and enjoyed the open air spot by the window. This was a great final memory of a great stay in Newport.
