Meal was very nice, Waitress/Staff didn't know what they were doing. Had to ask our waitress for water twice ( on a hot night you would expect it to be one on the first things they give you) when it did arrive every glass we got looked like kiddies glasses. and all were different. Meal was almost chucked on the... More

Very disappointed in our meal. 10 year customer and just picked up our takeaway. No love, no taste! Should have cooked myself. 👎

Love the turtle den. We live locally so get takeaway from here often. It's the best Chinese in Ringwood East. However it's a bit pricey, and You're not made to feel overly welcome during busy periods which is a shame. Thumbs up for the battered sweet and sour chicken though 😊

A third attempt at this restaurant and sadly the last - a takeaway this time - almost impossible to put phone order in, having to repeat requests several times and at one point having to the look up meal numbers on the net to try and communicate a dish. The pick up even harder - no one at the front... More

We have had dinner here a number of times over the years. The food is always very good and the ambience of the place is great. Service could definitely be a bit better. While the owner of the restaurant always looks after us well, the waiter we had this time could have easily been Manuel from Faulty Towers. Everything was... More

We've persevered over the years because the food is really nice. The ambiance and decor is beautiful and we keep hoping one day we won't walk out disappointed because of the rude staff and the unwelcoming feeling as we dine. For a moment there i thought we were at a tepanyaki as the food is almost thrown to your table!... More

This place always seems to be busy but im a fussy foody and love good clean tasting fresh original food. Been there a few times but over it now. Find all their dishes extremely over salted the meat and vegies are swimming in gluggy gluey boring sauce and the fried salted squid tastes like its been deep fried in 6... More

I phoned in a takeaway order which came to around 76$. When i went to collect our meal they charged an extra 8$ which when i questioned was told was an extra fee for phone orders. Ive left 2 stars on this review as the food was OK. I wont go back there as i feel this fee was excessive.

The Turtle Den in East Ringwood is a nice, quiet place to dine out on Chinese food. Prices are very reasonable as are the serves. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

This was one of the dinners that took 8 months to get everyone in the same place, so the venue was chosen as much for its location as for its reputation. We arrived early and we're able to watch the going's on until our group arrived. Obviously it's a family concern, as the lady who did most of the work... More
