This vineyard is situated a coupple of km outside the small Town of Martinborough. Still Walking or cycling distance. The wine is superb and the wine tasting is very good. If you should buy any wine in Matrinborough, this is one of top five.

Stopped on bikes and very accomodating for a group of ten with great wait staff Super hot day and lunch was lovely Upon paying was sad to hear a stroppy chef yelling at a waitress over a missed Bowl of Fries and banging the bench

The restaurant here is separate from the cellar. My advice is not to bother with the cellar door tasting but go straight to the cafe where you can buy a flight of 5 wines to enjoy with your meal. Very attentive service, excellent food and really good wines. We sat outside and looked over the vineyard. Perfect!!

Such a great spot to have lunch or do wine tasting! Good food and lovely staff. Tried a few wines I haven't had before and they were fantastic.

On our first day in Martinborough we came upon this restaurant. It was very busy but we got a lovely table overlooking the vines. The view was lovely. Service to start was fine, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine with our meal. I had pork belly with Asian slaw, sadly no crispy at all on pork and salad... More

We visited the Vineyard cafe as a family group of 10 during the peak holiday season. We were impressed with the service despite a very busy day and were seated under a lovely shady tree overlooking the vines. From the smallest (3) to the eldest (73) we were impressed with our meals (including many GF options). The kids were given... More

My first time to Martinborough and I loved it. Was gloomy in Wellington and got to Martinborough and it was sunny, fine but windy.(windy everywhere at the moment as I come from Taranaki) Great little shops and the winery for lunch was the icing on the cake. It was very windy which was a shame but fine as the view... More

Was in town for UB40 and wine tasting and figured we would stop for lunch and a tasting along the way. Nice busy setting inside and would be lovely on a nice day to sit outside. Staff were great to find us a table for two after initially saying they had a waiting list of 30 minutes. (We were happy... More

Nice setting and seems popular place. Lots of outdoor seating if a nice day. Food okay. Service terrible even though not busy. A lot of promoting needed. Gave up waiting for them to come back and take our sweet order. Lamb burger meal disappointing, masses of frozen thin french fries, not very crisp. Scrambled eggs with feta quite nice.

We called in for lunch and were lucky to get a table for five at 12 noon as they were very busy. We shared the tasting platter along with pork belly, pizza, haloumi salad and chicken sandwich. All excellent. My husband and I also shared the Flight of Five wine tasters. A lovely experience and worth a visit.
