Went for lunch. The set-up was fabulous and food delicious. Wanted desert but couldn't fit it in! Expected the prices to be on the high side and they were but quality reflected that. Staff very attentive and friendly. Yes, would go back.

We love coming to Kerikeri just to be able to visit Marsden and sample the food and wine on offer here. They really do it well, and it is a good package. They have the odd really unique wine variety too, so sample and enjoy....More

Being a vineyard, they should stick to core business. The wine was good but the food was overpriced, and .nothing special. The oil with the duckah was green and bitter. Staff were friendly and efficient. The decor was fine but we will not eat there...More

We had the tuna dish and it was one of the best tuna I ever had. The Sauvignon Blanc is very nice with the tuna.

Description
Nearly two centuries ago, the first grapevines were planted at Kerikeri That was the work of Samuel Marsden, the driving force behind the establishment of Anglican mission stations in New Zealand.

Nearly two decades ago, Rod and Cindy MacIvor followed in his footsteps with the establishment of the vineyard and wine estate they named after him.

Marsden Estate is youthful by comparison, but the vineyard, the gardens and the estate building look well settled into the sub-tropical landscape of New Zealand’s Far North.

Just a few minutes’ drive from Kerikeri village, Marsden Estate offers wine sales, tastings and tours, with innovative cuisine to complement its award winning wines. It’s known for the relaxed atmosphere of its courtyard dining space overlooking the lake and vines, with innovative cuisine that showcases the unique flavours of the region.
