The paintings on the walls gave a very good atmosphere of being on the high sea. It was nice after church place to eat. They got you served quickly . Loved the daily special. You get lots on your plate. We took home enough for dinner. Which we loved.

Bring your appetite. Very generous portions from a menu of good variety with excellent service. It is convenient to all the areas Hotels and close to I81. It is informal and enjoyable for couples, families and friends.

My husband and I ate Sunday lunch at this very popular seafood restaurant. There was not a lot of choice for me, as I am gluten and dairy free. It seems that many of the fish dishes are breaded. But I was able to have steamed shrimp, a side salad (with Italian dressing, but I am not sure if it... More

Not much had changed here over the years, except the price and the menu. Speaking of the menu if you are looking for the fried seafood platter it is is on the back and yet again management insists on listing Yingling as an import. Hello this is the oldest brewery in the US??? Can you say price gouge. The server... More

It had been at least 10 years since I last dined at Harbor inn. The last experience I had there wasn't great and I had just not cared to return. However, I'm glad I did. Now, the food wasn't "amazing", but it was fair and I walked away happy. I think for the price, the portions were really great (I... More

Three of us went in for Sunday lunch, the only day they are open for lunch. We all ordered fried shrimp and a crab cake w/ hush puppies and a baked potato. It was about $11-12 each and came w/ a nice garden salad. We chose the Greek dressing which was very good. Everything was awesome! We all three really... More

Took my daughter to Harbor Inn Seafood for her birthday on Tuesday, March 1, 2017 and could not have been more disappointed. Every other time I have been here, the portions are large and well cooked. I ordered the Pick 3 (Fried Oysters, Scallops and Alaskan Whitefish) and for the money, this time I did not get the value. I... More

In my opinion, this is the only place in Roanoke to get a sizable plate of seafood at a reasonable price. The scallops and shrimp are delicious, as well as the cod and white fish.

I ordered the broiled seafood dinner that is advertised as Sole, Scallops, and jumbo shrimp. With an appetizer of Calimari. To start over half the appetizer appearred to have been heavily battered octipus rather than Calamari and half was overcooked Calimari. Next the shrimp advertised as jumbo were in fact were small to medium shrimp in any coastal community. And... More
