I've been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years, and I think it's going downhill. First, they still don't take credit/debit cards, which is a little ridiculous in this day and age. The last few times I've been to the restaurant (once for lunch and once for dinner) the food was poorly prepared. Hot pastrami sandwiches should be hot, not... More

First off you need to know this restaurant is CASH ONLY - no CC/Debit/Checks, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the food and the service you receive! We were there right at lunch hour and were promptly seated and attended to; this is a large restaurant, with apparently an equally large carryout business from the front... More

Some friends and I went there for a casual dinner. I has forgotten how good the food was. Not only was it good but the portions were huge. It was enough for me to take home half and have for lunch another day. This is definitely on the list to take my grandkids to for a great lunch. The only... More

The absolute BEST sub in Roanoke. Price is great for the amount of sandwich you get. Not quite that hungry...they have the Torpedo which is half the size. Either way you will not be disappointed. Many other sandwiches also. Plus try their warm German Potato Salad and the Baklava !!

This restaurant truly has the best Sailor Sandwich in the state of Virginia and probably in the world! (New York Delis don't make Sailors !). Their other sandwiches & menu items are also excellent! Great cold case for take home. Over all - one incredible deli !!!

Love this place. Disappointed in 1000 island dressing but everything else wonderful. Top notch friendly and fast service. An older and decaying part of Roanoke but worth it for decadent pastrami!

We used to go here years ago. It was a treat. I ordered knockwurst and sauerkraut. The dog came cut up on top of two cups of sauerkraut. Dry rye on the side. German potato salad was crunchy. My husband's pastrami sandwich was dry too. What happened to this place????

This place is pretty average but the service is a little slow if you eat in. The food is okay, but sometimes overly salty and sometimes the staff seem unhappy with their job. However, its very cheap so I will continue to go.
