Stopped in for dinner for the first time in a long while and was pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was outstanding - very prompt and attentive. Food was very good, just like mama used to make.

If you are looking for a large menu selection and dependable average food this is a good choice. It was a lunch stop for us. We had the turkey and dressing and it was good not great. The yeast rolls were delicious. We were headed South down Highway 220 and it is a quick on and off so that's a... More

We traveled here for our Saturday morning breakfast because our hotel only had a cold cereal and white toast continental offering. It was worth it. Excellent cheese omelet and over easy egg, generous serving of wheat toast and good coffee. The grits were a bit too creamy for my taste and the biscuits not as good as the Southern Living... More

This was a very nice, typical southern breakfast. The food came fast, hot and fresh. The biscuits were quite good, but I found nothing to make them "famous" as claimed. All in all, a great breakfast spot.

We wanted a local option for brunch during the week. Reviews were very positive. It felt homey and local but food was not very good. Biscuits were dry, sausage overcooked and potatoes lacked flavor. Eggs were pretty good.

Serves good traditional local food including a solid selection of side dishes like pinto beans. Options include pasta, sandwiches, etc.--Good variety. Family-friendly and budget-friendly with many options. Service extremely uncoordinated on this visit. Staff friendly if less than as responsive as they typically are.

Inside looks like one those old style places you went to as a kid back in the 70's that you can eat B, L, or D and it will be cheap but taste good. This one had that appeal, even had the container on the table that has the jelly packets stacked on either side. Anyway, went here for breakfast... More

Super Bowl Sunday Breakfast. Short line waiting to be seated. Line moved quickly and we were seated in our normal are with our regular waitress, Gail. Coffee served quickly. Order taken. Both ordered waffles with a side of link sausages. Waffle cooked crispy, the way we like them, and buttered. Added syrup. Great service. Great waffles. Broad menu of Southern... More

Family-friendly traditional establishment with comfort foods, casual atmosphere, ample seating. Service had slipped a bit in recent years but is still welcoming. Options include sandwiches, Southern side dishes, pastas, etc. Has small gift shop (overpriced often). Good for takeout also.
