Wanna be Cajun. Ordered blackened catfish po-boy. Not done correctly, bottom of roll not edible at all-soggy. They do know how to make a Sazerac which was very good. Gumbo was pretty good, better than some I've had in NOLA. Zydeco and Cajun music playing, sounding good.

We had dinner at The Quarter last week. It was a Thursday night and the place wasn't particularly busy. We sat at the bar and ordered from the bartender. She brought the first round pretty quickly. Unfortunately, that's kind of where it ended. She spent her time at the end of the bar talking with other employees for big chunks.... More

We arrived at 5:20 and asked if we could eat and pay within an hour so we could get to our Paint Nite event. The answer was yes and they succeed. We started with gator bites… Delicious! I've always said I do not like grits. I was proven wrong at The Quarter. The shrimp and grits with sausage was gourmet.... More

We went to The Quarter to celebrate a bachelorette party. They were ready for us and ran back and forth constantly to fulfill all the requests with grace. The servings were generous and tasted great, and everyone had a great time!

This place has a great atmosphere and we enjoyed the food very much. We had been driving all day so it was a refreshing break in a fun city. Nice place for couples to eat.

Stay away at all costs. Food below average , service worse! Can't fully blame the server, management dropped the ball on this one. I don't think there are enough negative adjectives to describe this dining experience. Simply horrible. Will make sure none of our friends are subjected to such a foul time. To sum it up , "stay the hell... More

Stopped in for lunch. Seated downstairs in a booth. Dining area includes booths and tables. Upstairs more seating. Downstairs includes a full bar. Had Oysters Rockefeller and a grilled chicken salad. Oysters were excellent. Salad was average. Service was very good. Atmosphere very good. On street parking can involve a walk. Will return in a while. Lots of other options.

I usually visit the Quarter at least once a month. My latest trip was with several corporate visitors and they all loved it! My personal favorite appetizer is Gator Bites and entree is the New Orleans Combo. Gumbo, Jambalaya and Shrimp and Grits which comes with cornbread. You will not be disappointed! If you go in the spring, summer or... More
