They were very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the country-fried steak which was good although not as good as one I had back Wisconsin, which I am admittedly spoiled by. I especially liked the fried apples available as a side. The restaurant itself is certainly divey and an older building but in my experience dives often have... More

Maybe Simple but the easiest of dishes can be the hardest to make an impact, however Back and egg sandwich with cheese, all cooked to perfection, still licking my fingers as the egg was perfect Service was ideal and the waitress was on the ball just when I needed that top up. For me it was an ideal breakfast stop... More

Great service and wonderful lunch. The place is a dump. Needs a good cleaning. Would be much better if the place was cleaned up. You can see them cooking your food and the cooking area a complete mess. Don't think I will go back don't want food poisoning. The bowl they used to whip eggs for omelette was crusty with... More

We came in for a light dinner and saw the beef vegetable soup sign on the door. Our server, who was great, suggested a grilled cheese sandwich to go with the soup. Great suggestion. All was very good. Couldn't resist and had cherry cobbler to finish. All for about $18. Now how are you going to beat that? The restaurant... More

Ok, it has a few good points and bad points, but here goes! Service: Very, very good. The server I had was great. I'm not sure if she was the owner, but she sure acted like it. Very friendly, very very good at her job. Made me feel very welcome, and was enthusiastic with her job. Couldn't get better! Building:... More

Waitress was wonderful, polite and friendly. Food was standard diner fare. Nice portion and price. If in the area, will definitely revisit.

Stopped for lunch. Big mistake. Had eaten here a year ago for dinner. Ordered a cheese omelette. It was terrible. Overcooked and dry. It is a diner that has not been maintained. Not real clean. Service was SLOW. Won't return.

We were looking for an alternative to fast food or hotel buffet breakfast. The place seems to have a large regular crowd based on overheard conversations. I had eggs, country ham, biscuits and grits. Everything except the eggs was tasty. My wife had the pancakes and bacon. The bacon had good flavor and was cooked properly. The pancakes were dry.

Plain old american food at a fair price. Most definitely a "joint", and one to which we will return.

SLOWSLOWSLOW service. Food was just ok. Not a very clean facility. There are better options in the area.
