Needed a spot for lunch in the area and wanted a place I had not visited. Seated promptly. Drink order taken promptly - took a few minutes for a fresh cup of decaf coffee but it was fresh! Wide range of offerings on the menu. I tried the club - it had a choice of ham or turkey, versus many... More

I had 45 minutes and was told this was closest. Found a booth, parking close. Good coffee, prompt service, friendly staff. The tuna salad on wheat toast was the same as a million drugstore counters in the 50's and 60's. The cole slaw was from the grocer. Breakfast all day seems like what the veterans order.

Had a few breakfasts and lunches at this restaurant. This is the only cafe which offers 3 eggs ! Plus pancakes and bacon is a real rib filling breakfast. Their tuna fish sandwiches are also very good.

We always opt for non chains. On Our way to Lake Anna for the First day Hike, we stopped here for lunch. Typical home town place that we love. My husband had chicken salad sandwich that he said was delish. I was brave and got the special, which was a "saltfish breakfast" now I had never heard of this before... More

Husband and i stopped in for a late lunch while running errands. 2:50 on a weekday. First issue is they were only open until 3:30. So we went in and asked if we were too late to get a meal. "No, come on in" was the answer. Place was small, local, and clean. Service was good. The food however was... More

Up in Virginia visiting family for thanksgiving and thought i would give it a try being it was a local hangout. Typical diner/greasy spoon. First visit was wonderful. It was 11/21 and my family of 6 had the burger..very good and homemade. Next trip was this morning, 11/23 and our family came back for breakfast. The waitress was yelling across... More

We have been here several times, so obviously it isn't bad but it isn't fabulous either. It is a cute little cafe with an old diner feel to it, and the prices are decent. Of all the items we have got, the burger and fries is the best. Its a huge, yummy burger for the money! (Even better when you... More

While working up here at the North Anna nuke plant me and my buddy decided to have breakfast at the Café on our day off. Easy to find, has a very nice atmosphere. Quaint, kind of retro & very clean. Service was adequate. The food was great. We had sausage omelettes and home fries. Can't think of anything negative about... More

I've been going to the Courthouse Cafe off and on for close to 20 years. The food has always been good, solid, small town diner fare, and the prices have always been reasonable. Their breakfasts -- especially the omelets and bacon -- are extra good, and I get their bacon cheeseburger frequently. The wait staff can be a bit uneven,... More

Like stepping back a few decades? This is a real cafe with good food. I enjoyed the place, the people and their food.
