Reasonble prices for salads, seafood, entrees, and drinks. Fresh ingredients. Great crab dip appetizer with lots of crab. Arrive early, they do not take reservations. A little hard to find. Look for caboose and park near it to be near entrance.

Consistently good food. Best burgers in Staunton. Service is good. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it! Come early or you will have a wait as this is one of the most popular places in the area.

The Depot Grill is a great place to visit when you are in the Staunton area. The food, atmosphere, and prices are what you would want in any restaurant. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. I ordered the Dagwood Sandwich and my wife chose the Toosday Salad. My sandwich was huge, packed with the freshest... More

Housed in a former train depot, it offers a fun sense of history. I ate here with a group of coworkers and they did a good job making space for our large group. The bar is on the other side of the restaurant from the main dining, which keeps the families and the drinking crowd a bit separate. The menu... More

They served local, pastured beef. That's what I like! It was a nicely updated (a little) old train station and it was most enjoyable.

The last report I wrote was for dinner which was superb in all ways; i.e. service and food. We went back for a lunch time visit on 10 May 2017 and found that the food continued to be great, but, our server was not in keeping with we have come to expect from The Depot. She can back to the... More

My wife and I had the Chicken Tender Wrap Traditional and the Fajita Burrito respectively. Her Chicken Tender Wrap was excellent. The chicken was super tender and had an excellent flavor. We could have split that wrap as it is generously sized. My Fajita was lacking in flavor and in my opinion contained too much rice. The service was great.... More

This was our first time here. It was very difficult finding the restaurant. GPS said we were "there" but we still couldn't find it, or how to get into the parking lot. It was a bit confusing. It was raining, and we had just driven 4 hours to meet our daughter there so maybe we were a bit tense...but still....the... More

In spite of it being very crowded on prom night, we had a nice experience. The food was good and served quickly enough on a busy night. It is a bit more than mid range price, but not what I'd call fine dining pricewise.
