We bought pizzas from Val's that cost nearly $50 to pickup the night before New Year's Eve to take to a potluck event we were attending. We work in the building next to this charming little Italian place and thought we'd be bringing some nice pies to the gathering. If only we would have checked these pizzas first. Sadly, we... More

We arrived approximately 20 minutes prior to opening; however, they accommodated us, anyway, and service overall was excellent. However, that is where the favorable impression ends. My wife and I shared a small Greek salad (made with cheap ingredients, including iceberg lettuce - awful), a medium pizza (reasonably flavorful, however, the crust was soggy, even though we asked for it... It is a great family restaurant. Owners have been there forever and know all their regular customers by name. Great food. Always fresh.

We tried Val`s after someone recommended it to my wife. It was a recommendation! A friendly greeting at the door, a great aroma from the kitchen! We started with focaccia appetizer and both had the chicken carbonara. Both were great. Worth a return trip anytime!

I am allergic to cheese, so it is hard for me to get good Italian food. This restaurant is very accommodating. They've even told me to bring my own goat's cheese and they will use that! The food is good.

The food was excellent, and the staff was very sweet and friendly. You feel like you are at home with this restaurant . Everyhthing is homemade . I would reccomend starting with foccacia bread (you can get extra cheese, if you wish) and/or a salad. Their pizza is awesome and the kebabs are to die for. All of it was... More

We absolutely love this restaurant. We have been going at least once a week (dine-in or take out). The food is home made and delicious. Italian dishes are amazing. Sandwiches and pizza are great. The kebabs are out of this world. Start with a nice salad or crispino. Owners and staff are so friendly and you definitely feel welcomed from... More

I love popping into Vals. It is a small, quaint neighborhood spot that reminds me of being in a small European restaurant. It is friendly and family owned. They have lots of choices for lunch and dinner (salads, sandwiches, home made soups, pizza, spaghetti, lasagna, wine, etc.). I especially like their chicken garden salad and their iced tea. Excellent service.
