We were visiting Williamsburg and my brother drove down from Richmond to visit for the evening. We came here for dinner and while a bit pricey, the service was great. Three of us had chicken cordon bleu and one had Delmonico steak; all was good. The server joked with us all the while being very professional. It was a very... More

This had various reviews from past travelers, both good and bad , but decided rob" go for it". Must say we agreed with those that spoke about " slow service ". It it'd have been busy I'd not say much about it, but we arrived approximately 5:15pm. They open at 5:00 pm. Everyone said you need to get there early... More

We were here on vacation for a dinner meal. The decor is interesting; the restaurant is aptly named, as it looks like a cross between a barn and an Old West saloon—in an up-scale kind of way. Service is quite formal; the server placed our napkins in our laps if we hadn't already done it. I don't mind spending a... More

Yeah, it was pricey but where we're from, the places for good slow roasted prime rib are few and far between. This was delicious! My mouth wanted more but my stomach said don't you dare. Yes, the atmosphere is dated but it has certain old world charm. We had a fantastic server, Brandon, who was very friendly and attentive. I'd... More

We are here because it was so close to our hotel and they seemed to have a decent beer selection. The atmosphere and theme was tastefully displayed and our server was very professional and also personable which was perfect because we were very tired from driving all day and we could definitely be comfortable here. The food was fine. It... More

The Richmond road tourist corridor - Okay, but very pricey for the quality. There are much better quality options

This place is consistently good. The atmosphere is quiet with subdued lighting and the look of an old barn. Steaks are always tender and delicious and the other offerings are good as well. The servers are well trained, experienced, gracious, and anticipate your needs. We always go there when we are in Williamsburg.

As a local I can tell you they has the best steak for the price in Williamsburg. You get a bowl of pub cheese with crackers to start, followed by a huge salad all included in the price. You get an additional side of your choice. Yes, they have baked potatoes. Don't forget the hot rolls. Service...well the waiters have... More

The setting is dark with old wood tables. The cheese spread for the bread is good. The French onion soup is very good. The steak is excellent. The service is attentive.

The food is fantastic and the service is equally great! From the moment you walk in, you are graciously greeted and seated! We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. If you want a perfectly prepared steak (or anything else), come here! All of the servers are awesome but Mr. James is extremely attentive. Reservations recommended.
