Had lunch with friends at this charming place. The ambiance can't be beat. Cozy, homey, relaxing, rustic - pick your description. Food and service were excellent. The gift shop has some unique items. All in all a very pleasant couple of hours.

Log House is another Wytheville staple. It can be a bit pricey, so don't go expecting cheap eats. The grits are my favorite, and I normally hate grits. But these are fried and fabulous! The pork is also very tasty. The entire place has a...More

Was told a must place to visit, its set up ideally for a murder mystery atmosphere event. Very very rustic great place especially for sitting out back and enjoy a cocktail surrounded by trees , shrubbery that just added to the ambiance

What great food and amenities. One of the more unique restaurants you will find in Virginia.Wish we could dress in period clothes to come here. Because they serve Fancy Grits. They serve anybody! Loved the trout and Olympian salad. And stuffed yellow squash was very...More

Ambiance is abundant, organization is woefully lacking. This could be a great restaurant and is apparently popular with the locals, but it requires the patron to accommodate the restaurant and staff. On this visit, the food was on par with Denny's, the service was minimal,...More

Recommended by hotel, by the looks of the outside it is in need of some maintenance. Service seems to be sporadic and we felt the prices charged were a little high. They have a great little gift shop behind the restaurant that does not show...More
