Great food! Nice ambiance. Super service. Order anything, but for an extraordinary taste experience, have Macadamia Mousse for dessert: Roasted Macadamia nuts finely ground until smooth then incorporated into a rich creamy all dairy mousse. Served with crisps, florentine style honey almond wafer cookies.

We still travel extensively and return yearly to the Skylark It consistently maintains a 5 Star rating based on Don the owners relentless persistence to cleanliness, service and a determination to maintain the best quality and flavor of all the items on the menu. John has our vote for bar manager of the year.

Had dinner there last night with six friends, ordered the halibut with pesto and it was absolutely horrible. Two inches of pesto on top on an overcooked dry halibut steak. Quinoa was dry and this entrée was served with boring steamed broccoli...waitress never smiled and was very abrupt in her service.

Stopped by midweek lunch time on a sunny August day. Seating on outdoor patio at rear. Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices.

Was not busy. Barb was our server and also bartender. Made one of tbe best mojitos ever and recommended a scotch that my husband really enjoyed. Claim to have award winning clam chowder and have to say never had better. The gazpacho was also good after adding a little salt and tabasco, but that is personal taste. We thoroughly loved... More

Service was great. I had chicken and it was very dry, but they were very accommodating and offered a delicious Au jus to dip. The waiter was kinda snarky, but in a playful way. Wish we could have stayed for Live Jazz.

Skylarks has a varied menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We LOVE their breakfasts. Great variety, ample portions, good service and comfortable dining environment. Two different seating areas to choose from...street front or off-street patio front. Convenient location in Fairhaven historical district.

We stopped in for lunch while visiting on a Saturday. There were 6 of us including 2 kids and it seemed to be a bit of an imposition. There was confusion by the staff on where we should sit and our waitress seemed very put off by us. We all ordered sandwiches and it took almost an hour for our... More
