If you're in Bothell on a weekend and desiring a tasty brunch, Preservation Kitchen in THE place to go. Though we live 25 minutes away, sometimes we drive over just for brunch. The Mt.Vernon is everything that's right with brunch ( crispy potatoes, fried eggs, sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, AND bacon, all in one glorious mountain-esque dish. Not for the... More

Fortunately, I had made a reservation for Sunday brunch. We were seated almost immediately in the front room, which I was told was for those with reservations, while walk-ins were seated in the back. We arrived late enough for lunch to be available as well as breakfast and we all chose lunch. I ordered fish and chips but as their... More

Good happy hour menu. 5 bucks for a decent, basic but rather huge burger, and also 5 bucks for delicious ginger beef tacos of a generous portion size. Local beer on tap and a good selection of wines, although we usually just get the basic house red wine for happy hour. Have only eaten in the restaurant once, and had... More

Well, it was really nothing to write home about. I ordered a pasta dish with wild boar ragu. The pasta itself was good, but the ragu was extremely hot (as in spicy hot). Now I like hot stuff, but some in the table just couldn't eat it. Besides that the place smelled moldy. I don't think anything I tried was... More

The place is lovely and the staff is great. A couple of very small disconnects with the food, but a lovely meal.

I ate dinner at Preservation Kitchen this past weekend and loved it! Our starter salad had mixed greens, beets, quinoa and cheese. It was fresh and refreshing! For dinner, I had risotto with Brussels sprouts, kale and yams. Needless to say, it was delicious and I ate it all, leaving no room for dessert. However, I guess that's also the... More

My grandmother, mother, and I visited this restaurant for lunch. My mom had been to the Preservation Kitchen before but didn't love it like I did. After this visit, she said she will come back and looks forward to sitting on the patio in the spring. We had the Polenta tots with Aioli sauce and burgers and salad.

First of all, a beautiful venue. Great job setting up the place. The food was good. Worth repeating but not over the top. The duck confit was a little disappointing, as was the clans and chorizo. If atmosphere is your deciding factor, this is the place.

Food was amazing, prices was even better. Appetizer, two full dinners, cocktails, bottle of wine and amazing deserts for under $180. Amazing food quality.

We came here for a birthday celebration and the food was fantastic. I had the Mount Baker which was sausage gravy over potatoes with an egg on top. Heavenly tasting. I had to order more gravy because they don't give you very much, and surprisingly no toast with breakfast. The staff is attentive and even offered a free-be since it... More
