We live in Bellingham and fortunately can buy Breadfarm baguettes in town, but we often stop at their shop in Bow to buy something. They're so impressive because their crew is in their 7 days a week -- even Easter Sunday!

One of the best bakeries in western Washington that we have found. The tiny little town of Edison is down at the south end of the Chuckanut drive, you have to know about this place to even turn at the right place. Fantastic, tasty breads and a range of little baked goods and cookies. The macaroons and the Bakewell tarts... More

If you like artisan baked goods, this is a wonderful bakery in the quaint town of Edison, Washington. Lots to choose from and you can go next door and buy some wine and cheese at Slough and have yourself a meal

Not only is a trip to their shop in Bow more than worth it, but you can find a plethora of mouthwatering selections there ranging from breads to cookies to dog biscuits. Their take on bread and how it should be made is a true craft and science and it shows! They are the only bread/buns/rolls I will use; they're... More

The Breadfarm in Bow is unique. The Variety of delicious homemade breads, varietal shortbread cookies, granolas, muffins and Breadfarm paraphernalia make this shop a fun destination. Local farmers markets host a Breadfarm stand and they usually sell out. The potatoe bread is a favorite as our their baguettes and ginger shortbread cookies. Oh, and always grab a bag of their... The BreadFarm has great fresh bread. My personal favorite is the Bow Hill Baguette, but lots of good choices.

So many bread varieties! Seven people working here today so it must be a going concern. Got away with a small package of shortbread cookies that cost about a dollar apiece. Cookies about the size of a Reesie's chocolate cup. Aroma of the place to die for with all the baking bread. We do not live close but will come... More

This little bakery is amazing. Great vibes and delicious baked goods. We tried the olive loaf, chuckanut multigrain, the fig bars, and a macaroon. Yumm! People are so nice and it's so cool to see the people in back as they work on making delicious fresh breads. So glad we stopped by this little spot.

If you want bread, this is the place to go. It's out of the way but well worth the drive and the scenery.

Description
Founded in July of 2003 by Scott Mangold and Renee Bourgault, Breadfarm uses old fashioned techniques, every item we make is hand crafted, made from scratch. We pride ourselves on using the highest quality ingredients we can source to produce our baked goods. Supporting local business and sustainable commerce is important to us. Our bakery is located in the small village of Edison, Washington, just off of scenic Chuckanut Drive in beautiful Skagit Valley. We strive to create product offerings you can't find elsewhere. Our breads are naturally leavened using wild, natural yeasts. Our cookies and shelf stable pantry items are all made in small batches by staff with carefully tending hands. Using the finest quality, local, natural and often organic ingredients, our products are simple, flavorful and memorable. We are a passionate bunch of bakers, doing our part to change the world, one loaf at a time. CASH & CHECK ONLY! Enjoy!
