Good home style cooking with large portions. We've been coming here for years and it never changes. Good friendly service and food. If you're a fan of meatloaf or liver and onions this is the place. Desserts, lots of pies, are homemade. Can't comment on the rest of the menu because when we make the hour long trip here we... More

Needed to eat so we stopped. Decent burger. Good cold roast beef sandwich. Coffee was OK. Service was fast and efficient. Pie looked delicious but we restrained ourselves. Glad we stopped.

I hadn't been to this cafe for years and I stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. I was shocked at the deterioration of the interior. The ceiling was falling down in several locations, and the lack of maintenance was evident. It shows a complete lack of respect for the customers and staff. The food is typical diner food, large... For over 16 years since I have discovered this little gem I have enjoyed no better burger for the price ANYWHERE! I would make the hour long trek just to have one now and then. Finally I moved here! Breakfast are great! Their Prime Rib is excellent! And every dinner comes with soup and salad, vegetables, roll and dessert. Pies... More

We usually come in for breakfast and are served 2 breakfasts that could serve 4 adults! Excellent omelettes, briscuts and gravy, eggs cooked as requested. Some to take home and enjoy later. Hamburgers and sandwiches are good and their fries are well above average. Chowder is good here. Pie is a must + a huge scoop of ice cream. Yummy!

Frozen chicken fried steak, but perfectly cooked poached eggs. Ham and cheese omelet made with excellent Cheddar cheese.

We were on our way to Port Townsend for the weekend. We stopped here for lunch. The staff was ultra-friendly. I had fried clams; the portion was huge with fries, slaw and a scoop of ice cream. Someone mentioned my birthday, out came 4 waitresses singing. It looked like the breakfast is very popular.

Very much a local café and clearly popular on Saturday evening - it was packed but we got a table. No frills, service was speedy and attentive despite being busy. It was prime rib night the dinner include soup and salad and entrée and ice cream. We could barely walk when it was time to go! My wife took more... More

We were told the pie was good so we stopped. Once we found the door to go in and were inside we wondered if it was. The cafe is dated. That being said it appeared clean, the service was good, our burgers were good and the pie was better. We will stop again.

Stopped here on the way to the Kingston ferry and was very pleased. The menu items are numerous and they even have "mini" meals which I had. Even so, I got two sausage patties which I wasn't expecting. Hubby had an omelet which was enormous. Prices are reasonable, too. You'll be happy you stopped, guaranteed.
