We have been to Roses countless time and it never fails to disappoint. This was our first visit for breakfast. We both enjoyed a satiating breakfast with farm fresh eggs, cured meats and potatoes. The portions were delicious and satiating and fueled us for a...More

Forget the the usual American restaurant breakfast of 2 eggs with [frozen] hash browns and head to Rose's for real, live potatoes--perfectly prepared, shredded and baked, with poached eggs on top and a thin slice of Serrano ham (think prosciutto), or choose lovely whole grain...More

This place was recommended by a shop owner down the street. I figured we were dressed appropriately enough in our yoga pants and sweat shirts. Upon arriving there I rethought that a bit. But well we're here and hungry and it's not very busy. Mom...More

This was an exceptional lunch by any standard. A great wine program both in the restaurant and in their retail area. Great deli! This place can hold its own against anybody. Such a jem for Orcas!

After waiting over 30 minutes to get seated, the menu was very limited. Definitely not kid friendly items. I would ask to see the menu first before deciding on dining there.

Food was excellent. The baked eggs are interesting, granola and muffins were good. Service is so-so.

Roses Cafe reminds me of a moderately high end Seattle restaurant except located in a small town on Orcas Island. Similar food quality, service, (high) prices, open kitchen, small but quality menu, etc. We went for lunch and I had an exquisite pasta dish I...More

It was past peak-lunch-time when we stopped in the cafe for a meal. The food was slow in coming, but well worth the wait. We even saved room for dessert. It was all delicious. There seemed to only be one waitress for the whole dining...More

We made several purchases and spent about $70. The man behind the counter made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Not sure if I would go in again.

The bakery part doesn't have gluten free options, but the restaurant was very accomodating. I have celiac disease and was able to get an excellent salad with no problems.
