This restaurant is closed. What a shame. Had wonderful food when the original owner had it. Many happy memories for me and my family and friends. RIP Valley Cafe :-(

It's closed although the sign on the door says you can book catering. Too bad, the menu on the website looked good.

My family and I consider the Valley Cafe well worth the detour from I-90 into the middle of old Ellensburg. Its menu for both lunch and dinner is varied, and its food is excellent. For lunch, I usually have a cup of their always-delicious soup...More

Great stop for lunch. The menu offered plenty of variety and the flavors were delicious. Great find. Will come back again if we are in the area.

A good place to eat if you aren't worried about cost this is a restaurant that is a little on the fancy side but the food is good and worth it.

Nice happy hour menu, even on Sunday. Killer bloody Mary's. Short on wait staff. Cozy and quiet. Short but enjoyable stop.

While visiting grandchildren, we were taken to the Valley Cafe. I can't speak too highly of this place. Everything is fresh, made in house, and wonderful. If you are a gourmet, you won't be disappointed. If you aren't a gourmet, you will wonder why you...More

Have had some good lunches here, but I thought dinner was not so good. Mussels and pulled pork tacos has way too much salt and the Lasagne lacked flavor -- needed more herbs, garlic and spices -- salt level was fine in that dish. List...More

If you're like me and enjoy a selection of appetizers for dinner, this is the place. During my last visit I enjoyed a goat cheese and plum tart and some wonderful calamari. That left me room for their delicious key lime pie. Their entrées were...More

Description
The Valley Cafe is known as one of the best restaurants in Ellensburg! This business has been continuously operated since 1930 and still retains the original Art Deco decor from its 1938 remodel. This is a farm to fork restaurant using local ingredients for a more flavorful experience. The business also features a separate juice/coffee bar that serves sandwiches, soups and salads which is adjacent to the restaurant and located within the same building.
