Family owned business. A little pricey for breakfast food, but the quality and service are there for sure. Right next to Cedar Inn.

Charlies is a great place for lunch or breakfast with great service. Love going there. They have a fun display of Sea hawks memorabilia as well as Coca Cola items.

Sat at a table with really cold air blowing us. When we asked why the fan was on during the winter. We were told that the fan in the kitchen was out of order and ours was needed for the kitchen. No other tables were open. When we asked the cashier if the fan could be turned off or down,... More

At lunch today at Charlie's Café and it was a bad experience. Had eggs and fried steak. Scrambled eggs came out very dry and more like an omelet. I The booths were dirty with food stuck on the backrest and I asked the waiters why they did not clean them, she said they do every couples of weeks. They will... More

We had stayed the night at Cedars Inn, so walked to Charlie's for breakfast. There was nothing bad about it, but nothing special either. We had standard breakfast fare. I had egg, bacon and toast. The bacon was good sized and hearty, but tough. my husband had similar with "hash browns." What they call hash browns is not what we... More

We ate a great lunch here on the way home from Chinook Pass area. Decor is very interesting, much 50's memorabilia - Coca Cola posters, glasses, signs, etc. Excellent burgers, milk shakes. A very fine, old timey, family run cafe. Not the place for a beer.

We stopped here for lunch before heading to Mount Rainier. We shared a sandwich/salad and they split it for us for an additional $2. It was just the right portion as we were leaving room so we could each have a piece of blackberry pie. It was warm and yummy. Our service was just o.k., but I did notice one... More

Charlie's is the poster child for the great American cafe. The decor is Americana through and through. The food is great and the portions are huge. Waiters are friendly and attentive. The decor is wooden cabin, red white and blue and they have lots of Coca-Cola things - even an old pop bottle dispenser in the back. Behind the counter... More

For anyone from outside the US or jus city slickers who want to experience the best of small town America you have to take the time to stop here. This place makes you smile inside. Whether you are on the way to Mt Rainier or looking to go skiing, this place is enchanting.
