Went to try Kama'aina Grindz on a rainy Saturday, starving after a hike. Let's just say we were not disappointed! There are fun beverages available, straight from Hawaii like different tropical fruit juices and tea. The waitress suggested the chicken katsu curry, which was SO GOOD. Service was very friendly and fast. Although, the restaurant itself had this awful tile... More

Have many items on the menu in the Asian Hawaiian fusion. Good food and service. Popular- would recommend reservations on weekends and before events. No Pepsi or coke. Only local and Hawaiian juices, sodas, and beverages including Washington wine. Plates go from $11 on up to $20 for a Bento box. They finish all meals with their monthly sherbet flavor.

I was really looking forward to trying Kama'aina while in Everett this month. Very much sounds like my kind of place, and just a couple doors down from where I was staying. I came in about 15 minutes after they opened; I was greeted promptly, found a seat, and was given a menu. For being one of two customers in... More

My family and I ate at this restaurant for dinner, after returning from our Thanksgiving getaway in Vancouver, Canada. Although there was a baby who randomly screamed for no reason while we were dining there (that's what a baby normally does before learning to keep quiet in public places), I was able to look at my surroundings and imagine that... We eat lunch in the area a lot and this is a hot spot. Last time we went there wasn't enough seating and some groups after us had to move on down the street for lunch. We've been here a couple of times. The menu is hard to read in the sense that you're not sure what you are getting.... More

We were visiting friends in Everett and they introduced us to Kama'aina Grindz. It is a small place but very friendly. Our group tried several things from the menu and they were all delicious. Everything is made fresh so don't be in a hurry. Sit back and enjoy the experience.

The food was more like Asian Fusian , not really Hawaiian. But very tasty. The service was very slow. The kitchen is open to view which reveals its small. Took over an hour to get our meals after we ordered.

Having an open mind will serve you best on a visit to this restaurant. Don't expect a visit to the Hawaiian islands or a tour of Asia; but what you'll experience is "both"! Their dishes are an Asian/Hawaiian fusion and they do it well. It creates a very unique taste that not many restaurants can replicate. Since the restaurant was... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Everett. It is clean and casual with friendly, attentive servers and chefs. The food is amazing. It is beautifully prepared, fresh, local and absolutely delicious. It is Hawaiian-Asian fusion, with a little taste of many cultures. It is hard to describe, so you will have to taste it for yourself. The prices are reasonable... More

Best Everett has to offer...Fish Tacos, Bibimbap, Ahi Poke, Kimchee Pan Fried Noodles...Great meal all around! Showed up on a Saturday at 5pm and the restaurant was full. They took our name and had us a table within 15 minutes. (You can make reservations) Loved every bite and can't wait to return.
