From the time you walk in the door, Il Lucano will put a smile on your face. From the authentic Italian wine scattered about, to the owner singing Italian songs and greeting you personally to make you feel like family, this ristorante does not disappoint. The menu features a plethora of pasta dishes, but also boasts a very good steak... More

A very eclectic decorated restaurant that serves great Italian food and some nice wines. Very friendly owners and good service staff. Would recommend you make reservations as it is usually pretty busy. "Try it. You'll like it."

OK. Here's the deal. Almost every small town has at least one Chinese and one Italian restaurant. If you're lucky the fare is usually edible and at least comes up to the standard of a P.F. Chang's or an Olive Garden. Il Lucano in Gig Harbor is NOT such a place. It is an outstanding Italian restaurant comparable to some... More

A restaurant that's always busy is a good sign. We made a reservation for a Saturday night. The food and service were all fantastic! The bread and spicy olive oil was nice, pasta dinners were hot and cheesy, the caprese salad was the best I've ever had. I'd recommend this place to anyone and already have. Great ambiance.

Oct 2016 We split the Chicken Parm as it is too much food for one of us. At that it was plenty of food for dinner. If you want extra sauce ask for it when you make your order. They have a good stock of wine to fit all palates. I have yet to expand my taste buds. The restaurant... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Italian meal. The food was exceptional. The service was good, too. Many locals know and enjoy this restaurant .

This is our first choice each time we visit the area. The menu is extensive, going far beyond what most Italian offers. It is a family owned restaurant and many local families dine there. Great atmosphere. Spectacular food. It is outstanding!

The food and service was excellent. The restaurant is full of character and the wine list is perfect for paring the right meal with the right wine. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

This little place is tucked away in a shopping center, so glad we tried it. Very friendly, and the food was very good.

My husband and I love it. I enjoy going by myself, as well. I/we eat there at least twice a month. The chef personally greets each guest and offers suggestions. It's near our beautiful harbor and shops.
