Beautiful view friendly service and awesome food. My husband has had clam chowder all over the east coast and Maine and said this was better than all. My fish and chips were over the top excellent.

Stayed at nearby Waterfront Inn (discounted meal) during trip from Spokane to Sequim, walked around harbor and into this cozy eatery on a late Fri eves. during rainy season in November. Gracious host & server, great view of the harbor, great meal of fish & chips plus chowder & salad; wine & beer. Excellent food and reasonable prices, would eat... More

One of a kind restaurant with an awesome menu! Try the peppered prawn salad & the clam chowder! Great view of Gig Harbor Bay.

The Market Place Grille serves the best Chowder. I am from New England and their Chowder is excellent. Such a delight. The service is excellent. The owner is lovely and takes such pride in the food she serves. Number one Resturant in my book. If you eat there you will surely return.

Richard makes amazing salads and some of the best calamari in the area. Lovely views of the harbor. This is a modest place and service can be slow but it is worth the wait.

How we have missed this hidden gem, in full view of Gig Harbor, we will never know! Charlene, co-owner was such a warm and delightful welcome and stayed to chat at our table. The views are amazing as is the food, most cooked to order. Their full menu runs all day and the price point is great....most everything in $10-$20... More

Took our family for a light lunch after a gondola ride and miniature golf. Had bowls of clam chowder which was excellent. Also had an order of Bruschetta which was very good also. The couple that own this restaurant do a great job of making you feel welcome and the food is always good.

Since moving to the area about a year ago I suspect we've eaten at the MarketPlace Grille at least half a dozen times. The food is delicious, the server is wonderful, and the view of the harbor is spectacular. Yes, the place is oddly configured with two front doors leading to separate parts of the restaurant. And yes, it's a... More

We visited Gig Harbor as this where my wife lived when we met 39 years ago. After walking around a bit we decided to look for someplace to eat lunch and it was between two places, very close to each other. We had decided on the other place and were leaving the MarketPlace when another couple walking in, told us... More

I have been here many times. The hospitality is wonderful we always feel welcome. Everything we have eaten here has been very good from fish and chips to paella. Carleen(sp,) is a true hostess making one feel welcome and at home. The view of the harbor is a lovely accompaniment to a fine meal. Plans are in the works for... More
