It was lunch time and we had been up to Mount St. Helen's. This is on the main road up to the mountain and right next to the Interstate. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. The...More
The portions are huge, the service is friendly, and the food is reasonably good quality. All in all, very average Mexican food without much creativity, but not a bad place to visit for feeding hungry kids on the cheap.

Met family for lunch. I ordered the lunch chili verde and thought it was bland. My son ordered a burrito and it was huge. He ate it all! Free chips and salsa with order.
The food is well made, hot and fresh. Great portions at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend! A great place for larger groups as well.
I would return to the El Compadre Restaurant! Bright with fun decor, good food (generous portions) and friendly wait staff.
