It lends itself to the Dutch theme of the town. Can be crowded at times. Seems to be fewer locals than I remember in the past.

Lynden was a great place to raise our kids. Lived here 16 years. On our way to Cedar Springs Retreat Center for a get away weekend and stopped at Dutch Mothers for early lunch/late breakfast. I had the Fish and Chips. It came with coleslaw and fries and all was great. I've been on the hunt for the best Fish... More

Ate breakfast there during our stay. It is a Dutch style restaurant that has authentic Dutch cuisine as well as US types. The portions are very large and extremely tasty. Highly recommended and would definitely attend again! One breakfast could easily last for the entire day's meal!

We often stop here, we are never disappointed. There is such a wide selection to choose from. They always have great coffee, and lots of it. The prices are goood too, after all they make everything from scratch. Always look forward to going back.

Our group ordered five different slices of pie, Dutch Apple, Coconut Cream, Bumbleberry, Strawberry, and I cannot remember the last one, to share. I liked them all. Not everyone did. It is a little pricey but not anymore than other tourist towns. We also went to Leavenworth on this trip and I believe the prices were higher there. The ladies... More

Received 1 egg over medium...1 broken egg....4 strips bacon burnt on one end and merely warm on the other...1 piece of toast cut in half so they could call it two pieces..lol....2 coffees... More

I ordered sausage and eggs with hash browns and rye toast. Service was fast ... too fast as I could not ask why one of my "up" eggs was broken up and running on the plate. Started eating - sausage was obviously pre cooked and kept in a warmer - dried out. Toast was flat cold. Noted my complaints on... More

The old building and themed decor make for great ambiance. Service was average to a little above average. I ordered the split pea soup--very good--- and salad which was straight out of a bag and not too fresh at that. Didn't try any desserts but they looked delicious in the bakery case at the front. I would go here again,... More

We were seated right away, coffee delivered almost instantly and our order for the croquette plate with pea soup and the apple cinnamon pannekoek were also served quickly. Good food, great service and nice atmosphere!
