We visited the place twice in one week. The salad bar was reminiscent of something from the 1960's. Sparse selection with iceberg lettuce. The hamburgers were flat tasting and dry. Fries needed an oil change. Generally speaking, not a place I'd visit again if it wasn't the only cafe in town. The waitperson was cordial and attentive, but unfortunately the... More

We were driving from Seattle to Idaho for vacation, camping along the way. We left camp without having breakfast deciding to stop somewhere along the way. Going through Pomeroy we noticed Tonia's and decided to give it a try. While it looks small on the outside, the restaurant actually can seat quite a few people. The service was fast a... More

This is a darling place. It reminded me of the little restaurant in my hometown that all of the retired folks gathered at to drink coffee in the mornings. Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Service was utilitarian but not bad in any way. Great place to stop.

We were traveling through Pomeroy when we saw this homey looking cafe called Tonia's, so we stopped for breakfast. Wow! Great food, and lots of it, I can't remember a better breakfast in a long time. We loved the locals sitting around having breakfast, very down home, and they even chatted with us.

This is your all American, small town burger café. I've eaten at Tonia's several times and the food is always served fast and tastes delicious. The French dip club is my favorite :) Quaint little restaurant is a continuation of a Pomeroy institution.

Family reunion time.. came to town with lots of hungry folks. Tonia's waitress rallied to the call and was efficient and good natured considering our sometimes rowdy bunch, toddlers to grandparents. The cook was fast, the food was good and plenty of hot coffee to be had.

We stopped here for lunch while out doing photography. The service is friendly and efficient but, more to the point, the food is good. I had a BLT - the bacon was thick cut and plenty of it; romaine lettuce instead of iceberg and good whole wheat bread. My husband had a crunch chicken sandwich which he enjoyed. Would go... More

The restaurant is now named "Tonias." However, the food and service are still just a good as ever. On our last visit my hamburger was excellent and the tater tots were perfect. Very pleased...

My husband and I spent the weekend camping in the Umatilla National Forest. On the way home, we passed through Pomeroy. Donna's Cafe looked good, so we stopped in for a late lunch. We were really impressed by the quality of the food and how fast it arrived! We'll be returning!

Not fancy, but great food. Small older hometown restaurant that appears to once have been a drive-in restaurant. It is on our way to Lewiston and since it is usally around noon when we pass by we always stop and have lunch. Can't say how good the breakfast or dinners are because we haven't eaten at that time, but if... More
